As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55975, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

The Western Side of Portion of Jefferson Street, Brooklyn, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day of January, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, viz. :—
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the western side of Jefferson Street beginning at a point 236·5 links from its intersection with Cleveland Street, and extending for a distance of 100 links, being whole frontage of Lot 53, D.P. 392, Section 12, Ohio Registration District ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the western side of the portion of Jefferson Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Jefferson Street, fronting Lot 53, D.P. 392, Section 12, Ohio R.D. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52486, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The South-western Side of Portion of Shetland Street and the north-western Side of Portion of Ethel Street, in the City of Dunedin, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

“ That the Council of the City of Dunedin hereby resolve that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to those portions of those streets in the City of Dunedin known as Shetland Street and Ethel Street respectively where the same abut on to part of Allotment 53, Wakari Extension, as more particularly delineated by red colour on the plan annexed hereto ” ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the south-western side of the portion of Shetland Street and the north-western side of the portion of Ethel Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portions of streets.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, known as Shetland Street, abutting on part Section 53 of the extension of the Township of Wakari.
Also all that portion of street situated in the said land district and city, known as Ethel Street, abutting on part Section 53 of the extension of the Township of Wakari.
As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56100, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on either side of the portion of Wellington Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street, such condition being of the same effect as By-law No. 229 of the City of Nelson By-law No. 1 (1916), Part Seven, relating to building-line.
