IT is hereby notified, for general information, that a new company has been formed and incorporated in New Zealand under the name of “ J. C. WILLIAMSON (NEW ZEALAND) LIMITED ” (having its registered office at the Grand Opera House, Manners Street, Wellington), with the object (inter alia) of acquiring and carrying on in New Zealand the business and properties of J. C. Williamson Limited (the company incorporated under that name in Australia), so far as the same relate to New Zealand.
In consequence thereof, notice, pursuant to section 307 of the Companies Act, 1908, is hereby given that J. C. Williamson Limited, a company incorporated in New South Wales in Australia, carrying on business in Australia and New Zealand and having its registered office in the City of Sydney, intends voluntarily to cease to carry on business in New Zealand on and from the 20th day of October, 1923.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.
I, HARRY LYN, heretofore called and known by the name of Harry Ormond Gwatkin, of Christchurch, Retired Farmer, hereby give public notice that on the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of my said surname of Gwatkin and my second name of Ormond, and then assumed and adopted and determined thenceforth on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of Lyn instead of the said name of Gwatkin; and I give further notice that by a deed-poll dated the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, duly executed and attested and enrolled in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Christchurch, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the said surname of Gwatkin and my second name of Ormond, and declared that I had assumed and adopted and intended thenceforth upon all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe the name of Harry Lyn instead of Harry Ormond Gwatkin, and so as to be at all times thereafter called, known, and described by the name of HARRY LYN exclusively.
