Additional Land at Maungaturoto taken for the Purposes of
the North Auckland Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Auckland Railway to take further land at Maungaturoto, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 4 acres 0 roods 31·3 perches.
Part Lot 1, D.P. 1124, Okahurewa Block, Block XII, Waipu Survey District, Otamatea County. (S.O. 22483, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 32537, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of August, 1923.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Pongakawa Section).

Situated in Block II, Waihi South Survey District. (S.O. 22584.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56414, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of August, 1923.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block XV, Waipukurau Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway, and is not now required for such purposes) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Waipawa County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 3 roods 17·3 perches.
Portion of railway reserve (Tukituki River bed), situated in Block XV, Waipukurau Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 744, green.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 57421, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Amending a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road and Road closed in Block III, Opotiki Survey District, Opotiki County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the Proclamation dated the thirtieth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 50, of the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, proclaiming land as a road and road closed in Block III, Opotiki Survey District, Opotiki County, by substituting the words “Gisborne Land District” for the words “Auckland Land District” in the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of August, 1923.

Amending a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road in Block XI, Kerikeri Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the Proclamation dated the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 54, of the twenty-eighth day of the same month, proclaiming land as a road in Block XI, Kerikeri Survey District, by substituting “Bay of Islands County” for “Mangonui County” in the heading of the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 2nd day of August, 1923.
