TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RATE ON ELECTRIC LOAN, £90,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £90,000, authorized to be raised by the
Tauranga Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for hydro-electric works at McLarens Falls, Wairoa River,
the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of 3s. 6d. in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Borough of Tauranga, com-
prising the whole of the Borough of Tauranga ; and that
such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—OTONGA SPECIAL LOAN
AREA.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and
its amendments, the Whangarei County Council hereby
resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £12,250, authorized to be raised by the
Whangarei County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of formation, construction, and metalling of
certain roads in the Otonga Special Loan Rating District,
the Whangarei County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of
all rateable property within the said Otonga Special Loan
Rating District, comprising all the area and rateable pro-
perty within the following lines,—
Commencing at a point where the main road crosses the
Waiariki Stream in Block XI, Hukerenui S.D. ; thence
north-east by the said stream to the eastern boundary corner
of Section 4B S. 3A ; thence along the north-eastern boundary
of the last-mentioned section to the southern corner of Sec-
tion 4B N. 3A ; thence along the eastern boundary of the
said section and the north-eastern boundary of Section 9462
4B N. 3B ; thence generally northwards along the western
boundaries of 9022 part 4A 1 and 12 and the southern bound-
ary of Section 13 to the south-western corner of Section 4,
Puhipuhi, Block VII, Hukurenui S.D. (the riding and county
boundary with the Bay of Islands County) ; thence generally
northward by the county boundary as described in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 78, of September 2nd, 1920, to the ocean ;
thence southward bounded by the ocean to the Whananaki
Inlet ; thence westward by the Otonga Riding boundary as
described in New Zealand Gazette No. 133, page 3350, of
September 26th, 1918, to the south-eastern and south-western
boundaries of Section S.E. 38 of Block XVI, Hukerenui S.D.,
to the main road ; thence towards the north-west generally
by the main road to its intersection with the Waiariki Stream,
being the place of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable
yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE ECLIPSE FENCING BATTEN COMPANY
(LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 26th day of October,
1922, an entry was made in the minute-book of the
Eclipse Fencing Batten Company (Limited), and signed by
at least three-fourths of the members holding in the aggre-
gate at least three-fourths of the shares in the capital of
the company, a copy of which entry is as follows :—
Registered Office,
Auckland, 26th October, 1922.
RESOLVED as an extraordinary resolution, That the Eclipse
Fencing Batten Company (Limited), be wound up volun-
tarily ; and that ALFRED LAMBERT PIKE be appointed Li-
quidator.
A copy of the said entry, including the signatures thereto,
has been forwarded to every member of the company who
has not signed the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that on the 4th day of January,
1923, MANNING, HENDERSON, AND DORREEN (LIMITED),
whose registered office is 169 St. Asaph Street in the City of
Christchurch, duly passed the following resolution :—
That this company be wound up voluntarily, and that
ARTHUR JAMES MANNING, of Christchurch, Merchant, be
appointed Liquidator of the company for the purpose of
winding up the same.
