PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by the Cook Islands Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do by these presents issued under my hand and the Seal of the Dominion appoint you

HUGH FRASER AYSON, Esquire,

to be Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, to be Chief Judge of the High Court of the Cook Islands, and also to be the Chief Judge of the Native Land Court of the Cook Islands, to hold the said offices during my pleasure as from the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, such offices to be held concurrently with your office as Judge of the Native Land Court of New Zealand.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1922.
