Notifying Lands in North Auckland Land District for Sale by
Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and twenty-six of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the eleventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
TOWN LAND.
Eden County.--Town of Onehunga.
Lot 1 of Allotment 2, Section 48 : Area, 1 rood 38'6 perches ; upset price, £150.
Lot 2 of Allotment 2, Section 48 : Area, 1 rood 38'6 perches ; upset price, £150.
The sections, which are very suitable for building-sites, are somewhat rocky and uneven, but could be levelled or terraced. Sufficient land for a garden for each section could be obtained. Situated in Grotto Street about ten minutes walk from the Te Papapa Railway station by a good formed and metalled road.
SUBURBAN LAND.
Mangonui County.--Suburbs of Mangonui.
Lot 1 : Area, 2 acres 0 roods 23 perches ; upset price, £200. The section fronts the main foreshore road, about sixty chains from the Mangonui Post-office and wharf, and is a good building-site. There is a permanent stream running through section.
Note.--A reasonable time will be allowed to remove the buildings in the event of the owner not being the successful bidder at the auction.
RURAL LAND.
Manukau County.--Pakuranga Parish.
Sections 40 and 140 : Area, 12 acres 3 roods ; upset price, £510.
These sections consist of stony terraces in grass, with blackberry and gorse spreading. Fenced on three sides by stone wall and post-and-wire fence, and a good hedge on the east boundary. Watered by a spring, probably dry in summer. Access is from East Tamaki, one mile and a half distant by good metalled road. The school is a quarter of a mile distant.
Sections 159 and N. 162 : Area, 9 acres 0 roods 19 perches ; upset price, £250.
Stony volcanic land, in grass. Fenced on two sides by stone wall. There is no water on these sections; suitable for grazing only. Access is from East Tamaki, one mile and a half distant by good metalled road.

Opening Lands in Taranaki Land District for Sale or Selection.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Monday, the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.
