Results of Polls for Proposed Loans.
Wellington, 5th April, 1923.
THE following notices, received from the Chairman of the Council of the County of Inglewood, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL.
Results of Polls on Proposals to raise Loans.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Inglewood was taken on the 7th day of March, 1923, on the proposal of the Inglewood County Council to borrow the sum of £3,275 for erection of Ngatoro and Make-tawa Bridges on the Junction Road.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 196, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 112.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Inglewood was taken on the 7th day of March, 1923, on the proposal of the Inglewood County Council to borrow the sum of £1,300 for erection of County Offices.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 168, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 138.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Inglewood was taken on the 7th day of March, 1923, on the proposal of the Inglewood County Council to borrow the sum of £20,425 for main road improvements.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 168, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 140.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Paparata Road, Bombay, Special Rating Area, in Franklin County, was taken on Monday, the 12th day of March, 1923, on the proposal of the Franklin County Council to borrow the sum of £2,000 for the purpose of metalling the Paparata Road, Bombay.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 13, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 8.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notification of Issue of Certificate of Registration of Lakes District Acclimatization Society.

THE following special order, made by the Inglewood County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of section 2 of the Noxious Weeds Amendment Act, 1910.

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order in re Noxious Weeds.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities in it in that behalf by sections 4 and 5 of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, and section 2 of the Amending Act of 1910, and all other powers and authorities in that behalf enabling, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves by way of special order as follows:—
That the Inglewood County Council hereby declares the following plants (which appear in the Third Schedule to the Act of 1908) to be noxious weeds within the areas of jurisdiction,—
Broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea).
Gorse (Ulex europæus).
Ox-eye daisy (Chrysanthemum leucanthemum).
Pennyroyal (Mentha pulegium).
St. John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum or H. humifusum).
Spiderwort (Leycesteria formosa).
Barberry (Berberis vulgaris).
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Inglewood was hereto affixed in the presence of
