Stations 97 and XXVII to the southern boundary of Pihanui No. 2; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Putere 4b to the Mohaka River, up that river to the eastern boundary of Small Grazing-run 37, along the eastern and north-western boundaries of said Run 37 to Te Hoe River; thence along the western boundary of the Wairoa County as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1918, page 941, and the western boundary of the Whakatane County as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1918, page 941, to the southern boundary of Block XIII, Ahikereru Survey District; thence along the southern boundaries of Blocks XIV, XV, and XVI of the said Ahikereru Survey District, and the southern boundaries of Blocks XIII and XIV, Ruatahuna Survey District; thence in a straight line to Mangapohatu Trig. Station, the point of commencement, as delineated on plan marked M.D. 5506 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

WHEREAS by section twenty-three of the West Coast Settlement Reserves Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Order in Council at any time declare that the provisions of section one hundred and nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, shall apply to any block, section, or subdivision of land comprised in leases granted or confirmed under the West Coast Settlement Reserves Act, 1881, and the amendments thereof:
And whereas it is expedient that the provisions of section one hundred and nine aforesaid shall apply to the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, for the purchase of which the Crown desires to negotiate:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section twenty-three of the West Coast Settlement Reserves Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the provisions of section one hundred and nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, shall apply to the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 19th day of December, 1922.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Irvine Road, in the Hukutaia Settlement, Auckland Land District, Opotiki County, commencing at its junction with Woodlands Road at the north-western corner of part Section 20s, Block VI, Opotiki Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through part of the said Section 20s, Block VI, Section 25s, Blocks VI and VII, and part of Section 399, Blocks VII and XI, Opotiki Survey District, and terminating at a point about twenty-five chains south of the northern boundary of the said Section 399; being a distance of 1 mile 27 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53957, deposited at the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

ALL that portion of May Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Clifton County, commencing at its junction with Moki Road at the south-eastern corner of Section 8, Block III, Upper Waitara Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction, adjoining or passing through part of the said Section 8, and terminating at a point about fourteen chains south of the south-eastern corner of Section 5, Block III, Upper Waitara Survey District; being a distance of sixty-six chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55799, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
