TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—HAIRINI BRIDGE
LOAN, £2,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the
Tauranga Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for paying its proportion of rebuilding the Hairini Bridge,
the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Tauranga,
comprising the whole of the Borough of Tauranga; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day
of April in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—SHOWGROUND LOAN.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £3,250, authorized to be raised by the
Tauranga Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for acquiring Lots 604 to 613, Section 2, Town of Tauranga,
for a recreation-ground, the said Tauranga Borough Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound
sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property in
the Borough of Tauranga, comprising the whole of the Borough
of Tauranga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the first day of April in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.

MATAKAOA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Matakaoa County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of the principal and interest and also other charges on a loan
of twelve hundred pounds (£1,200), authorized by the Mata-
kaoa County Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,
for purchasing and fencing land required to effect a deviation
of the Taurangakautuku Valley Road, the said Matakaoa
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one
farthing in the pound on the capital value of all rateable
property in the Taurangakautuku Valley Special Rating Area,
comprising properties Hauturu No. 2, Section 4, Block III,
Mangaoporo S.D.; Sections 3 and 4, Block IV, Mangaoporo
S.D.; Pakihikura No. 1, Pariwhero A or Tangakaka, Small
Grazing-run No. 70, west part of Taumatuomanu 2A, east
part of Taumatuomanu 2A, Taumatuomanu No. 2B, Lot part
1 of Whakaaingiangi Estate, Lot 2 of Whakaaingiangi Estate,
part of Lot 3 of Whakaaingiangi Estate, Lot 5 of Whakaa-
ingiangi Estate, and reserve adjoining Lot 5 of Whakaaingi-
angi Estate. And that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six
and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.
Northcote Settlement Electricity Loan, £500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the
Waimairi County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of electrical reticulation of the Northcote
Electricity Special Loan Area described in the Schedule
hereto, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound on the
rateable value (being capital value) of all the rateable pro-
perty in the said special loan area; and that such rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and shall be payable yearly on the 14th day of December
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All that area known as the “Northcote Settlement,” situated
in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District, being the southern
part of R.S. 305, commencing at the south-western corner of
R.S. 305 on the North Road, thence northerly along the
western boundary of the said section for a distance of 10 chains
to the unformed road, thence easterly along the said road
for a distance of 22 chains, thence southerly at a right angle
from the said road to the southern boundary of R.S. 305,
thence westerly to point of commencement.
Fendalton No. 2 Channelling Loan Rate, £6,500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waimairi
County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £6,500, authorized to be raised by the
Waimairi County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of kerbing and channelling in the Fendalton
No. 2 Channelling Loan Area described in the Schedule hereto,
the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of five-eighths of a penny in the pound on the
rateable value (being capital value) of all the rateable pro-
perty in the said special loan area; and that such rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and shall be payable yearly on the 14th day of December
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All that area situated in Blocks X and XI, Christchurch
Survey District, comprising R.S. 242, 188, 60, and 18, com-
mencing at the corner of Leinster Road and Strowan Road,
thence northerly along Strowan Stream to Jeffrey’s Road,
thence westerly along Jeffrey’s Road to Clyde Road, thence
southerly along Clyde Road to the Waimairi Stream, thence
in an easterly direction along the said stream to Idris Road,
thence northerly along Idris Road to Bradnor Street to the
Wairarapa Stream, thence easterly along the Wairarapa
Stream to the point of commencement.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Waimate Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of
£20,000, authorized to be raised by the Waimate Borough
Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the
purpose of drainage extensions, the said Waimate Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence
halfpenny (2½d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Waimate,
comprising the whole of the Borough of Waimate; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day
of October in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.
