A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the better disposal of Crown or other land within the district defined by the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55613, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of February, 1923.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a shingle-quarry and road access thereto, and the land taken for the said shingle-quarry shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Kawhia as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.

FOR SHINGLE-QUARRY.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 7 perches.
Portion of Oparau River bed; coloured edged red.
FOR ROAD ACCESS.
Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 25Β·7 perches.
Portion of Pirongia West No. 3B Section 2C No. 3; coloured sepia.
Situated in Block VII, Kawhia North Survey District. (S.O. 22234.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56087, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Allocating Cost of taking Poll under Section 132 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, County of Heathcote.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of February, 1923.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Christchurch City Council shall defray all the costs incurred in connection with the taking of a poll under the said Act on the thirty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, on the proposal to exclude from the County of Heathcote an area comprising a portion of the Bromley Riding of that county and to include such area in the City of Christchurch.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Heathcote County Council shall defray all the costs incurred in connection with the taking of a poll under the said Act on the thirty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, on the proposal to exclude from the County of Heathcote an area comprising a portion of the Hillsborough Riding of that county and to include such area in the City of Christchurch.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Auckland of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of February, 1923.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Auckland City Council to permit the laying-off of a street of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet within the area described in the Schedule hereto, it being inexpedient to lay off a street of a width of sixty-six feet in such area.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 23 perches, more or less, being Allotment 69, Section 16, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56365, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.
