limits the powers of that Board to borrow moneys in excess of the limits fixed by section six of the Fire Brigades Amendment Act, 1908 :
And whereas applications have been made by the Napier Fire Board for such increase in the borrowing-powers of the said Board, as provided by the said section thirty-nine, and it is desirable to grant such request :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section thirty-nine of the Finance Act, 1920, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the powers of the said Napier Fire Board to borrow moneys in excess of the limits fixed by section six of the Fire Brigades Amendment Act, 1908, are hereby extended, but so as not to exceed the sum of twenty thousand pounds; provided that no moneys as aforesaid shall be borrowed except subject to the provisions of the Fire Brigades Act, 1908, and its amendments.

Additional Regulations under the Land Agents Act, 1921-22.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 1st day of February, 1923.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by the Land Agents Act, 1921-22 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following additional regulations under the said Act.
REGULATIONS.

In these regulations the expression “the said regulations” means the regulations made under the said Act on the 24th day of May, 1922, and gazetted on the 1st day of June, 1922.

(1.) Clause 1 of the said regulations and the form No. 1 in the Schedule thereto are hereby respectively amended by omitting therefrom all references to the renewal of a license under the said Act.
(2.) Every application for the renewal of a license under the said Act shall be in the form in the Schedule hereto.

Clause 8 of the said regulations is hereby amended by omitting the words “before a license is issued to him, or the renewal or transfer of a license is granted,” and substituting in lieu thereof the words “when making application for the issue, renewal, or transfer of a license”; and also by including after the word “forthwith” the words “after the license is issued or renewal or transfer granted.”

Clause 12 of the said regulations is hereby amended as from the making thereof by deleting the words “31st day of December, 1922,” wherever they occur, and the words “31st December aforesaid,” and substituting in lieu thereof the words “31st day of January, 1923.”

(1.) On payment into the Public Account of any moneys pursuant to the said Act the bank receipt therefor shall be forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs.
(2.) Clause 14 of the said regulations is hereby revoked.

APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF LICENSE UNDER THE LAND AGENTS ACT, 1921-22.

In pursuance of the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, I, [Name in full and address], hereby make application on my own behalf [or on behalf of the firm of (Name of firm), of which I am a member; or on behalf of (Name of registered company), whose written authority authorizing me to apply for and hold a license under the said Act on its behalf is hereto annexed, marked “A”] for the renewal of license No. [No. of license] to carry on the business of a land agent at [State full particulars as to location of places of business, distinguishing principal from other places of business].
A fidelity bond for £500 from [Name of insurance company or other sureties] is hereto annexed, marked “B” [or The fidelity bond for £500 from (Name of insurance company or other sureties) in force in respect of my existing license enures in respect of this application for renewal].

Cancelling the Reservation of a Primary-education Endowment in the Town of Napier.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection one of section one hundred and twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1922, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the reservation as an endowment for primary-education purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
Town Section 407, Town of Napier: Area, 2 roods.

Declaring the Property of Mr. A. Dobson, Whangarata, to be a Sanctuary under the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Act, and that no imported or native game shall be taken or killed within the said area except pursuant to an authority granted under section thirty-one or section thirty-two of the said Act; nor shall any person, except under such conditions as may from time to time be prescribed by the Minister, take any dog or firearm into such area, or discharge any firearm or explosive in such area, or do anything likely to cause any imported game or native game to leave such area.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District being Sections 97, 98, 99, and 100, Parish of Tuakau, the property of Mr. A. Dobson.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 25th day of January, 1923.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a public-school site.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being Section 17, formerly part of Section 9, Block VI, Apiti Survey District. As
