THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Land District and approximately 1,532 acres in the Hawkeโs Bay Land District, the total being bounded as follows: On the north by Section 1, Block IV, Waioeka Survey District; towards the north-east by Section 2, Block IV aforesaid, and Section 1, Block V, Motu West Survey District; towards the south-east by the southern boundary of the Auckland Land District, the northern boundaries of Small Grazing-runs 90 and 89, and again by the boundary of the Auckland Land District; then on the west generally by Oamaru No. 1c Block, the U or Kote Pato Stream, the Waioeka River, and a road to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on forest atlas No. 048, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon washed green with neutral border.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of January, 1923.

Land proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1920, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation approved in Executive Council, declare that any national-endowment land disposed of under the Land Act, 1908, and held under lease or license by any person who is competent to acquire land under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, shall cease to be national-endowment land:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, which is so held on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1908, should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section eleven, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 33, Block VI, Tauhara Survey District; Area, 64 acres 2 roods.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of January, 1923.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.โCROWN LAND.
SECTION 9, Block VI, Marakopa Survey District: Area, 47 acres 1 rood 2 perches.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Land Board of the Taranaki Land District has recommended that the Crown tenant of the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto should be afforded relief, owing to exceptional circumstances over which he has no control preventing the profitable occupation of such land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-five of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1911, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land enumerated in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-seven of the Land Act, 1908; and I do further fix two years from the date mentioned in the said Schedule as the period for which the said land shall be exempt from payment of rent.

SECTION 43, Block V, Cape Survey District: 1st July, 1923.
