Improvements.—The improvements not included in the capital value consist of a three-roomed dwelling, well and pump, chaff-house, cow-shed, and 49 chains subdivisional fencing, valued at £365, which may be paid for in cash, or this amount may be treated as an advance.

The improvements included in the capital value consist of 92 chains fencing; valued at £28 15s.

Sections 8 and 9, Block IX: Area, 29 acres; capital value, £1,020; annual instalment on deferred payment (excluding interest), £51; half-yearly rent on lease, £22 19s.

Good flat agricultural land; black soil on clay subsoil. Access from Washdyke Railway-station by good formed road, two miles.

Improvements.—The improvements consist of wooden dwelling of two rooms, storeroom, separator-room, loose-box, cow-shed, poultry-house, pigsties, pump and piping, orchard, and 76 chains boundary and subdivisional fencing, valued at £210, which may be paid for in cash, or this amount may be treated as an advance.

Land in Wellington Land District for Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land is open for sale or lease to discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and the regulations thereunder; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, the 18th day of December, 1922.

The lands may be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or selected on lease for a term of sixty-six years, with right of renewal for further successive terms of sixty-six years and a right to acquire the freehold.

Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Wellington, on Tuesday, the 19th day of December, 1922, at 10.30 o’clock a.m.

The ballot will be held at the conclusion of the examination of applicants.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—FIRST-CLASS LAND.

Kaitieke County.—Kaitieke Survey District.

SECTION 29, Block IV: Area, 173 acres 0 roods 9 perches; capital value, £1,500; annual instalment on deferred payment (excluding interest), £95; half-yearly rent on lease, £33 15s.; interest and sinking fund, £15 12s.*

NOTE.—The deferred-payment instalment includes payment for buildings.

Situated on the Oio Valley Road, about two miles and a quarter from the Owhango Railway-station. Access by formed dray-road. Well watered by streams. Soil is of light quality, on papa formation. Altitude, from 1,440 ft. to 1,755 ft. above sea-level.

Improvements.—The improvements consist of 130 acres felled and grassed, 155 chains fencing, roads, and tracks, valued at £770; to be paid for in cash, or this amount may be treated as an advance. Also four-roomed dwelling, four-bail cow-shed, and separator, valued at £400; which may be paid for in twenty-one years by forty-two half-yearly payments of £15 12s. Total half-yearly payment on lease, £49 7s.
