Waiotahi Drainage District, County of Opotiki, constituted.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of October, 1922.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the third section of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Opotiki, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the said area be constituted a drainage district under the provisions of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the third section of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, and to be called by the name of the “Waiotahi Drainage District”; and also, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the fourth section of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Board of Trustees of the said district shall consist of five persons to be elected as members of the said Board, and under and in accordance with the said Act.

WAIOTAHİ DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Land District of Auckland, situated in Blocks I and V, Opotiki Survey District, being Sections 394, 400, 410, 411, 412, 418, and 419, Waiotahi Parish.

Member appointed to the Pongaroa Scenic Board.

WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the tenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the Gazette of the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, the control of a certain reserve in the Wellington Land District, known as the Pongaroa Scenic Reserve, was vested in certain persons therein named, who were by the said Warrant constituted a special Board by the name of the Pongaroa Scenic Board, in pursuance of section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908: And whereas it is desirable that Ernest McIntyre, Esquire, of Pongaroa, should be appointed a member of the said Board, in place of Walter Henry Plowman, Esquire, of Pongaroa, resigned:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby appoint the said Ernest McIntyre to be a member of the Pongaroa Scenic Board constituted by the Warrant dated the tenth day of March, hereinbefore referred to, in place of the said Walter Henry Plowman.

Increasing Number of Days on which Charges may be made for Admission to the Petone Recreation-ground.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby increase the number of days which may be prescribed by the Petone Borough Council as days upon which charges may be made, pursuant to section twenty-nine of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, for admission to the recreation-ground described in the Schedule hereto, or to any part thereof set apart for a particular purpose, from ten days to fifteen days in any year.
SCHEDULE.
PETONE RECREATION-GROUND.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Borough of Petone, containing by admeasurement 27 acres, more or less, being part of Section 6, Hutt Registration District, and being Lots 1, 4, 6, and 8 on plan numbered 1968 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, Wellington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of October, 1922.

Vesting the Control of a Scenic Reserve in the New Plymouth Scenic Reserves Board.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being land reserved under the said Act), in trust, for the purposes of scenery preservation, as from the date of this notice until the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four (unless previously altered or revoked under the said Act), in the New Plymouth Scenic Reserves Board, as constituted by notification dated the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in Gazette of the sixteenth day of that month.
SCHEDULE.
OKOKI PA SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing 42 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part Section 24, Block IV, Waitara Survey District, and being the land taken for scenery-preservation purposes by Proclamation dated the 24th day of July, 1907, and gazetted on the 1st day of August in that year.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of October, 1922.
