Crown Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the
Taranaki Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described
in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set
apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease
to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner
provided in the said Act.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged
Soldiers, under Ordinary Tenures, in the Canterbury Land
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged
Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount
Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,

do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the twenty-second
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen,
and published in the Gazette of the tenth day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and eighteen, setting apart settlement
land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land for
Settlements Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

SECTION 17, Block XVI, Opawa Survey District, MacGregor
Settlement: Area, 326 acres 2 roods 15 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 17th day of October, 1922.

Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not
required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject
to the Land Act, 1908.
