Consenting to stopping Portion of Road in Block XII,
Awitu Survey District, Franklin County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of
August, 1922.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby con-
sent to the Franklin County Council stopping the portion
of road described in the Schedule hereto.

stopped:

Situated in Waipipi Parish, Block XII, Awitu Survey

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
55077, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block VII, Mount Cerberus
Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of
August, 1922.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become a Government road.

Approving a Society under Section 22 of the Administration
Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of
August, 1922.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS it is provided by section twenty-two of the
Administration Act, 1908, that the security of any
incorporated company or guarantee society approved by the
Governor-General in Council may be accepted by the Court
as the security required to be given by an administrator or
other person appointed to administer an estate under the
above-mentioned Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the above-recited power and authority, and acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve, for the purpose above
mentioned, of the following incorporated society, namely:—
The Union Assurancse Society (Limited).

Extending Time for closing Poll, Papatoetoe Town District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of
August, 1922.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in him by the Local Elections and Polls Act,
1908, as amended by the Local Elections and Polls Amend-
ment Act, 1913, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby extend the hour at which the election of members
of the Papatoetoe Town Board to be held on Wednesday,
the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-two, shall close to seven o'clock in the afternoon
of the day appointed.

Fixing the Date and Place for the Payment of Land-tax under
the Land and Income Tax Act, 1916, and its Amendments,
and the Land-tax (Annual) Act, 1922.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of
August, 1922.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority
vested in him under the Land and Income Tax Act,
1916, and its amendments, and the Land Tax (Annual) Act,
1922, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and determine that the duty leviatile under the said
Acts by way of land-tax shall be paid on the day and date
set forth hereunder :—
Land-tax under section two of the Land Tax (Annual)
Act, 1922 : In one sum on Tuesday, the seventh day
of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
two.
And in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as
aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place
where the said duty of land-tax shall be payable shall be the
office of the Commissioner of Taxes at the Government
Buildings, Wellington, and that notice to the aforegoing effect
shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.

occupy Part of the Foreshore at Rawene as a Site for a
Market-house.

day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen,
