Additional Land at Pahau taken for the Purposes of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway to take further land at Pahau, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 roods 4 perches.
Portion of Sections 279 and 281, Square 90, Block IX, Culverden Survey District, Amuri County. (S.O. 1819, red.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 31083, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of August, 1922.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in Franklin County, at Drury.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Franklin County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Portion of railway reserve, Opaheke Parish, Block VIII. Drury Survey District, Franklin County.
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 27986, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of August, 1922.

Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

SECTIONS 1 to 18 (inclusive), Block VI, Paritutu Survey District: Area, 59 acres 0 roods 34 perches.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Makumaku Block Subdivisions and Wairau 3a Block to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, duly laid off as a road-line, in pursuance of sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that in the public interest the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
