powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Greytown Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Greytown Borough Council Antecedent Liability Loan of £5,420, 1922, authorized to be raised by the Greytown Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying the Borough Council’s antecedent liability as defined by the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921–22, the said Greytown Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of sevenpence three-farthings (7¾d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Greytown; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—SOUTH RIDING LOAN, £5,000.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Eltham County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect to principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Eltham County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for forming and metalling roads in the South Riding, the said Eltham County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-thirteenths of one penny in the pound upon the capital value of all the rateable property within the boundaries of the South Riding of the Eltham County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Eltham County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect to principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £150, authorized to be raised by the Eltham County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for erecting bridge over the Whenuakura Stream in the Omona Riding, the said Eltham County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the capital value of all the rateable property within the boundaries of the special rating area of the Omona Riding as defined in the memorandum of consent of ratepayers authorizing the raising of the loan; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing between DAVID PILMER and JOHN BLACK, and carried on at the Parliamentary Cafe, No. 70 Lambton Quay, Wellington, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 15th day of August, 1922. All debts owing to and by the late Partnership will be respectively received and paid by DAVID PILMER, whose address is at the premises known as No. 70 Lambton Quay. The said business of the Parliamentary Cafe will in future be carried on by the said JOHN BLACK at the same premises, and he will be responsible for all debts contracted by the said business from and including the 15th day of August, 1922.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the above-named private company held at Rotorua on 17th August, 1922, an entry was made in the minute-book to the following effect:—
“That the Grand Picture Company (Limited) wind up voluntarily; and that Mr. J. H. BUDDLE, of Rotorua, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator of the said company.”
And the same was signed by at least three-fourths of the members of the said company holding at least three-fourths of the share capital.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company held at Auckland on the first day of August, 1922, the following special resolution was passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company held at Auckland on the seventeenth day of August, 1922, the said resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:—
