DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ALFRED WARE and HERBERT VINCENT WARD, carrying on business as Butchers at Eltham under the style of “Ware and Ward,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the first day of August, 1922. The said ALFRED WARE will carry on the said business, and will pay all liabilities and receive all the assets of the late firm.

ANTONIO’S LIMITED.

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of Antonio’s Limited duly convened and held at No. 108 Victoria Arcade, Auckland, on 14th July, 1922, the subjoined resolution was duly passed ; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company duly convened and held at the same place on 11th August, 1922, the subjoined resolution was duly confirmed, viz. :—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that the assets of the company be sold to another company to be called ‘New Antonio’s Limited,’ having a capital of £1,875, divided into 7,500 shares of 5s. each, for a sum equal to the amount owing by the company at the date of liquidation, the shares in the new company to be offered, in the first instance, for fourteen days, to the shareholders in this company at par, in proportion to the number of shares held by them in this company, payable 1s. per share on application, 1s. per share on allotment, and the balance in calls as made by the Directors.”

And at the last above-mentioned meeting HENRY GILFILLAN, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

COUNTY OF TARANAKI.

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE OVER AHUAHU ROAD.
SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT.—LOAN OF £100.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £100, being ten per cent. on the original loan of £1,000 authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Ahuahu Road, the Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Ahuahu Road Special Rating District, being Sections 1 to 5, 6 to 16, 17 to 36, 37 to 40, 41 to 44, 45 to 49, 50 to 52, 53 to 84, being the whole of Ahuahu Township sections between main South Road and the sea ; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, Ahuahu Town Belt ; 9, Ahuahu Town Belt ; 36, 166, 24, 20, 19, 21, 10, 8, 6, 9, 2, Sub. 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 25, 26, 29, of Sec. 1, Sub. 12 of Sec. 1, Block 2, Wairau Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £365, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling Albion Road, the Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and three-eighths pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Albion Road Special Rating District, being Sections 101, 102, 103, 113, 114, 104, 115, 120, 124, 125, 130, 131, 134, 135, 139, 144, 123, 129, 118, 138, 143, 145, 148, 149, Block VI, Cape ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
