Notification of Approval of Amended Rule, Otago Acclimatization Society.

Wellington, 22nd August, 1922.
Pursuant to the provisions of section 25 of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I hereby notify that a copy of an amended rule made by the Otago Acclimatization Society on the 26th day of June, 1922, has been forwarded to me, and was approved on the 22nd day of August, 1922.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, DONALD GEORGE CLARK, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Christchurch Homing Pigeon Society is no longer carrying on operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

ERRATUM.—In Notice No. 1, published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 26th January, 1922, page 189, under Presbyterian Church of New Zealand, for “The Reverend Charles McDonald, M.A.,” read “The Reverend Charles Macdonald, M.A.”
Notice by the Public Trustee under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its Amendments.
To the owner of the following land, that is to say: All that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 32 perches, more or less, being the northern part of the Market Square shown on Block I on the map of the Private Township of Brighton signed by Hugh Williams, and deposited in the Deeds Registry Office at Dunedin under the number 21; bounded on the north-east by Section 16 of Block I, 100 links; on the south-east by Cole Street, 200 links; on the south-west by Taylor Street, 100 links; and on the north-west by Section 11 of Block I, 200 links: the last registered transaction relating thereto being probate No. 26402 of the will of Hugh Williams, deceased, granted to Simon Frederick Every, of Dunedin, Gentleman, and William Carr Young, of the same place, Merchant.
WHEREAS, after due inquiry, the owners of the above-described land cannot be found: And whereas the said owners have no known agent in New Zealand:
Now, the Public Trustee hereby calls upon such owners, within six months of the date of the publication of this notice in this Gazette, to establish to the satisfaction of the Public Trustee their title to the said land. If such owners fail or neglect to establish their title within the time limited, the Public Trustee will immediately thereafter exercise the powers and authorities granted to him under and by virtue of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (Part II), and its amendments.

Unclaimed Property.
In the matter of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908; and in the matter of the estate of Edwardina Swanson, formerly of Johannesburg, in the Union of South Africa, Married Woman, but whose present whereabouts are unknown.
WHEREAS it has been reported to the Public Trustee that the said Edwardina Swanson is entitled to certain property—namely, thirty ordinary £1 fully-paid-up shares numbered 12540 to 12569, inclusive, in the Oamaru Woollen Factory Company (Limited), and that it is not known whether she is alive or dead: And whereas the Public Trustee has been requested to take possession of and administer the said property under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part III: And whereas the value of the said property does not exceed £1,000:
Now, therefore, the Public Trustee, with the consent of the Public Trust Office Board, hereby declares his intention of taking possession of and administering the said property under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part III.

Unclaimed Property.
In the matter of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908; and in the matter of the estate of George Butters, formerly of Papakaio, in the Provincial District of Otago, in the Dominion of New Zealand, Farmer, but whose present whereabouts are unknown.
WHEREAS it has been reported to the Public Trustee that the said George Butters is entitled to certain property—namely, ten ordinary £1 fully-paid-up shares numbered 6935 to 6944, inclusive, in the Oamaru Woollen Factory Company (Limited), and that it is not known whether he is alive or dead: And whereas the Public Trustee has been requested to take possession of and administer the said property: And whereas the value of the said property does not exceed £1,000:
Now, therefore, the Public Trustee, with the consent of the Public Trust Office Board, hereby declares his intention of taking possession of and administering the said property under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part III.
