DEFINING RIVER, EXTENDED-RIVER, AND EXTREME LIMITS—continued.

Stewart Island All the waters of Port William, Horseshoe Bay, Half-moon Bay, and Paterson’s Inlet, and all the waters of the sea within three miles of the shore between the south - south - easternmost point of the west head of Port William and Anglem Point, Stewart Island Nil .. .. .. .. Nil.
Tairua Inside the Heads of Tairua Harbour Inside a line drawn from the mainland immediately to the eastward of the most south-eastern point of Rabbit Island, thence to the north-western point of Slipper Island, thence to the most north-western point of Shoe Island, and thence westward to the mainland Nil.
Tauranga Inside the Heads of Tauranga Harbour, including inside passage to Katikati Between Katikati and the new outlet of Rangitaiki River; and, in fine weather only, inside straight lines drawn from the North Rock, Tauranga, to the northernmost and southernmost points respectively of Motiti Island, including the west coast only of the said island Nil.
Thames On the Thames River .. .. In the Hauraki Gulf, inside a right line drawn from the north point of Cabbage (Colville) Bay to Shearer Rock, off Tiritiri Island, and thence to Tawharanui Point Nil.
Timaru Inside the Breakwater, Timaru .. Not more than three miles from outer end of Southern Breakwater. (For fishing-boats only, twenty miles from Breakwater) Nil.
Tokomaru Bay Inside a right line drawn from Kotunui Point (north) and Mawhai Point (south) Not more than five miles from the shore at the centre of Tokomaru Bay Nil.
Tutukaka Inside the Heads, Tutukaka Harbour Between Tutukaka, Ngunguru, and Rocky Bay Nil.
Waikato Inside the bar of the Waikato River Nil .. .. .. .. Nil.
Wairau Inside the bar of the Wairau River Inside a right line drawn from White Bluff to Separation Point, Port Underwood (fishing-boats only) Nil.
Waitara Inside the bar of the Waitara River Nil .. .. .. .. Between Opunake and Awakino.
Wanganui Inside the bar of the Wanganui River Within a radius of three miles from the flagstaff on the North Head, Wanganui River Nil.
Wellington Inside Wellington Heads .. Extended-limit tugs, inside a radius of ten miles from Pencarrow Head; provided any vessel employed in the said limits is manned as a home-trade ship so far as regards the master and chief engineer, and is partially equipped as a home-trade ship to the satisfaction of a surveyor of ships Nil.
Westport Inside the bar of the Buller River Four miles outside bar (tugs, dredges, and hopper barges not carrying passengers) Nil.
Whangamumu Inside a right line from Flat Rock to South Head, Whangamumu Harbour For passengers and cargo not more than three miles, and for fishing-boats not more than four miles, from the entrance of the harbour Nil.
Whangape Inside the entrance of Whangape and Herekino Harbours Between Whangape and Herekino on the north, and between Whangape and Hokianga on the south Nil.
Whangarei Inside the Whangarei Heads .. Nil .. .. .. .. Nil.
