General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, viz. :—

“ That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets hereinafter mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply—

“ (a.) To that portion of the northern side of Clemow Road to which Subdivisions 1 and 2 of part Sections 28 and 29, all part of Original Section 93, Fitzroy District, Block V, Paritutu Survey District, have frontages ; nor

“ (b.) To that portion of western side of Record Street to which Subdivisions 2 and 3 of part Sections 28 and 29, all part of Original Section 93, Fitzroy District, have frontages ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the northern side of the portion of Clemow Road and the western side of the portion of Record Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portions of streets.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street, situated in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, known as Clemow Road, abutting on Subdivisions 1 and 2 of part Sections 28 and 29, part of Original Section 93, Fitzroy District.

Also all that portion of street, situated in the said land district and borough, known as Record Street, abutting on Subdivisions 2 and 3 of part Sections 28 and 29, part of Original Section 93, Fitzroy District.

As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55003, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Portion of Weka Street, in the City of Nelson, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of August, 1922.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Nelson City Council on the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, viz. :—

“ That the Nelson City Council, being the local authority having control of the street in the City of Nelson known as Weka Street, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the said street between Milton Street and the eastern extremity of Weka Street ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on either side of the portion of Weka Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street ; such condition being of the same effect as By-law No. 229 of the City of Nelson By-law No. 1 (1916), Part Seven, relating to building-line.

ALL that portion of street in the Nelson Land District, City of Nelson, known as Weka Street, situated to the east of Milton Street. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54980, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Revocation of Naturalization of Gustav Kronfeld annulled.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of August, 1922.

Present :

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS letters of naturalization were issued to Gustav Kronfeld on the thirteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three :

And whereas by Order in Council under the Revocation of Naturalization Act, 1917, dated the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and gazetted on the sixth day of June in that year, the naturalization of the said Gustav Kronfeld was, with that of other persons, revoked :

And whereas it is deemed expedient to annul such Order in Council in so far as it relates to the said Gustav Kronfeld :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Revocation of Naturalization Act, 1917, His Excellency and Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the said Order in Council of the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, is hereby annulled in so far as it relates to the revocation of the naturalization of Gustav Kronfeld.

WHEREAS letters of naturalization were issued to August Carl Bowmast on the twenty-sixth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and five :

And whereas by Order in Council under the Revocation of Naturalization Act, 1917, dated the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and gazetted on the twenty-seventh day of June in that year, the naturalization of the said August Carl Bowmast was, with that of other persons, revoked :

And whereas it is deemed expedient to annul such Order in Council in so far as it relates to the said August Carl Bowmast :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Revocation of Naturalization Act, 1917, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the said Order in Council of the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, is hereby annulled in so far as it relates to the revocation of the naturalization of August Carl Bowmast.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

WHEREAS the Mount Albert Borough Council proposes to raise a loan of eighty-two thousand pounds under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for carrying out drainage-works :

And whereas the poll of ratepayers was not taken not less than one week after the day of the last publication of the notice of intention of raise the loan, as required by subsection two of section ten of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913 :

And whereas it appears that the ratepayers have not been misled by the said irregularity or defect, and it is expedient to validate the same :
