In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amend-
ments; and in the matter of THE RONGOTEA AND DIS-
TRICT INDUSTRIAL Co-OPERATIVE SOCIETY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for .the winding-
up of the above-named company by the Supreme
Court was on the 7th day of July, 1922, presented to the
Honourable Sir Robert Stout, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice of
New Zealand, by Bing Harris and Company (Limited), of
Wellington, Merchant, a creditor of the said company ; and
the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the
Supreme Court at 11 o'clock in the forenoon on Friday, the
18th day of August, 1922, at Palmerston North ; and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said
company under the above Act should appear at the time of
hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose ; and a
copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or con-
tributory of the said company requiring the same, by the
undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the
same.

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and the Public
Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waiapu County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-men-
tioned Acts, to execute certain public works--namely, the
construction of a road and the widening of a road, and the
provision of a landing-reserve; and for the purpose of such
public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken.
Notice is further given that a plan of the lands so required
to be taken for such public works is deposited in the public
offices of the Clerk to the said Council at Waipiro Bay, and
is open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office
hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
works or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-
founded objections to the execution of the said public works
or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections
in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the
Council Chambers, Waipiro Bay.

THE WAITOA FLAX-MILLING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 223 of
the Companies Act, 1908, the following resolution was
passed in accordance with section 169, subsection (6), of the
Companies Act, 1908:-
It is resolved, “That owing to the company having ceased
to carry on business it is advisable to wind up the same,
and that it be wound up accordingly.
"That CHAMBERS AND WORTH be appointed Liquidators
for the purpose of winding,up the affairs of the company."

N OTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company held at Cashel
Street, Christchurch, at the offices of Messrs. Caygill, New-
burgh, and Co., Public Accountants, the following extra-
ordinary resolution was passed :-
“'That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the com-
pany that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up
same, and accordingly that the company be wound up
voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”

THE WATTS PENINSULA LAND COMPANY (LIMITED).
THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908, SECTION 47.—REDUCTION
OF CAPITAL.
OTICE is hereby given that on the 3rd day of August,
1922, an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
made on the 28th day of July, 1922, confirming the reduction
of the capital of the above company, and a minute of such
reduction approved by the Supreme Court, were duly registered
by the Registrar of Companies at Wellington.
The form of the minute is as follows :—
Minute approved by the Court.—The capital of the Watts
Peninsula Land Company (Limited) is from henceforth £1,400,
divided into 1,400 shares of £1 each, reduced from £14,000,
divided into 1,400 shares of £10 each, of which all have been
issued. At the time of the registration of this minute the
whole of the said shares have been issued and are to be deemed
fully paid up.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
subsisting between us, the undersigned, JOHN WILL-
LIAM WALTERS and REGINALD FRANCIS HAYNES, carrying on
business as Butchers at Napier under the style or firm of
“'Walters and Haynes,” has been dissolved by mutual consent
as from the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-two. All debts due to and owing by the late
firm will be received and paid respectively by the said JOHN
WILLIAM WALTERS, who will continue to carry on the said
business under the name of “'J. W. Walters.”
