Education Board of the District of Hawke's Bay.—Election of Members.
IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, I hereby declare that the following persons have been duly elected members of the Education Board of the District of Hawke's Bay :—
Gisborne Urban Area : Crawshaw, George.
Napier Urban Area : Venables, George William.
Hastings Urban Area : Hamilton, Alfred William, and Roach, George Frederick.
North Ward of the Rural Area : Oates, William.
Middle Ward of the Rural Area : King, Archibald.
South Ward of the Rural Area (ordinary vacancy) : Soundy, Richard Philip.
South Ward of the Rural Area (extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of Ernest Albert Goodger) : Cuthbertson, William.
For the Gisborne Urban Area, the Napier Urban Area, and the North Ward of the Rural Area the number of duly nominated candidates was equal to the number of persons to be elected. For the remaining area and wards the voting was as follows :—

Education Board of the District of Taranaki.—General Election.
IN accordance with the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, it is hereby publicly notified that the following persons have been duly elected as members of the Education Board of the District of Taranaki :- North Ward.-The number of votes recorded in favour of each candidate was-
Dempsey, Hector
Hoskin, Frank
The number of votes rejected as informal was 2.
The total number of votes recorded was 208.
I therefore declare Hector Dempsey duly elected a member of the Education Board of the District of Taranaki for the North Ward.
Central Ward.-The number of votes recorded in favour of each candidate was-
Sims, Frederick Herbert
Trimble, Harold
The number of votes rejected as informal was 3.
The total number of votes recorded was 263.
I therefore declare Frederick Herbert Sims duly elected a member of the Education Board of the District of Taranaki for the Central Ward.
South Ward : Eaves, Hubert James.
Urban Area of New Plymouth : Smith, Sydney George.
The members for the Urban Area of New Plymouth and South Ward were elected unopposed.

The Education Board of the District of Wanganui.-Election of Members.
IT is hereby notified that at the election of members of the Education Board of the District of Wanganui the number of votes recorded for each candidate was as follows:-
Wanganui Urban Area-
Aitken, James
Grace, William Arthur
The total number of valid votes recorded was 35.
The number of votes rejected as informal was 0.
West Ward-
Hemingway, Edward Fredric Henry
Oldfield, William
The total number of valid votes recorded was 181.
The number of votes rejected as informal was 7.
North Ward-
The only nomination received was that of Mrs. Nellie Dunne.
South Ward-
No nominations were received. Under section 18 of the Act, the Board elected Alfred Fraser to the vacancy.
Palmerston North Urban Area-
The only nomination received was that of William Rankin Birnie.
I hereby declare Messrs. James Aitken, Edward Fredric Henry Hemingway, Mrs. Nellie Dunne, Messrs. Alfred Fraser and William Rankin Birnie elected as members of the Board for the Wanganui Urban Area, West Ward, North Ward, South Ward, and Palmerston North Urban Area respectively.
