Declaring Portions of Road in Block XIV, Momahaki Survey
District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of
August, 1922.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become a Government road.

Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring a Native to be a European.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of
August, 1922.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section seventeen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1912, it is enacted that the Governor-
General may by Order in Council, on the recommendation
of the Native Land Court, declare any Native to be a
European:
And whereas Tiaki Kaperiera (Jack Kape), of Ngatapa,
Gisborne, being a Native within the meaning of the Native
Land Act, 1909, applied in the prescribed form for a recommendation of the Court that he might be declared a European;
And whereas the said Court, having duly inquired into the said
application, has recommended that an Order in Council be
issued declaring the said Tiaki Kaperiera (Jack Kape) to be a
European: And whereas it is expedient that such declaration
should be made:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the powers and authority conferred on him by section
seventeen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the said
Tiaki Kaperiera (Jack Kape) to be a European.

The North-western Side of Portion of Arney Street, in the City
of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117
of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to
the Building-line.
