AKA AKA DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION TO LEVY SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Aka Aka Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Aka Aka Drainage Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, (being £700 to pay off antecedent liability, and £4,300 for dredging and widening the Aka Aka Creek, Western, McCarthy’s, and Mawhitiwhiti drains), the said Aka Aka Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twenty-one hundredths (0·21) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Aka Aka Drainage District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TARADALE TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Taradale Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,074, authorized to be raised by the Taradale Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of paying off the overdraft existing as at the 31st March, 1922, the said Taradale Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Taradale Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly in one sum on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Taradale Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Taradale Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of purchasing land with or without buildings thereon, and for the erection of workers’ dwellings on the land so acquired, the said Taradale Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the whole of the Taradale Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
