Transmitting and Receiving Officer for the Service of Notices by Telegraph.

General Post Office,
Wellington, 11th July, 1922.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914, the following officer, at the address set against his name, is hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officer for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notice as are required or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid :—

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block I, Waitemata Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block I, Waitemata Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Riverhead, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 1 rood 27·6 perches.

Being portion of Allotment 70, Ararimu Parish, Block I, Waitemata Survey District. (S.O. 21787.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54307, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

As witness my hand, at Wellington, this 24th day of July, 1922.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.

I, DONALD GEORGE CLARK, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that The Phoenix Cricket Club is no longer carrying on operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.
