WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Borough
Waterworks Extension Supplementary Loan of £3,800, 1922,
authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the extensions
to the waterworks system, the said Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of seven-fortieths of a penny (7/40d.)
in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of
the Borough of Whangarei; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid
off.

TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
HYDRO ELECTRICITY LOAN, £47,000.—RESOLUTION MAKING
SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Taumarunui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £47,000, authorized to be raised by the
Taumarunui Borough Council, under the above-mentioned
Act, for the purpose of installing electricity generated by
water-power, the said Taumarunui Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of fourpence and forty-seven-
fiftieths of a penny (4d. and 47/50ths of ld.) in the pound
upon the rateable value of all reateable property of the
Borough of Taumarunui (based on the unimproved value);
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the first day of June in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 21 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and
of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Grey-
town Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Greytown
Borough Council Gas Extension Loan of £2,500, 1922, autho-
rized to be raised by the Greytown Borough Council, under
the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the purchase of
gasmaking plant, machinery, gas-meters, stoves, mains, and
services incidental thereto, and the erection and laying the
same upon or under the streets and public places of the
borough, and upon or under any private lands or buildings
within the borough, the said Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of threepence in the pound sterling on the
rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rate-
able property in the Borough of Greytown; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first
day of April and first day of October during the currency of
such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.
