Revoking Order in Council licensing Louisa Ann Bigwood to use and occupy Part of the Foreshore at Taieri Mouth as a Site for a Jetty.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of June, 1922.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 103, of the fifteenth day of the same month, Louisa Ann Bigwood was licensed to use and occupy part of the foreshore at Taieri Mouth as a site for a jetty, as shown on plan marked M.D. 5399, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington:

And whereas the licensee has made application to have the said license revoked, and it is desirable to revoke the same:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council dated the twelfth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and the rights and privileges thereby conferred.

Third Schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, extended to include Japanese Wineberry.—Notice No. 2184

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of June, 1922.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the operation of the Third Schedule of the said Act by including therein the plant known as Japanese wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius), and it is hereby declared that this Order shall come into force on the day of the publication hereof in the Gazette.

The Western Side of Portion of Adelaide Road, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of July, 1922.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, viz. :—

“The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the western side of Adelaide Road beginning at its junction with Britomart Street and extending for a distance of 75·75 links, being frontage of Lot 1 and part Lot 2, part Town Section 1016, as set out in certificate of title, Volume 62, folio 277, in office of the District Land Registrar ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the western side of the portion of Adelaide Road described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Adelaide Road, abutting on Lot 1 and part Lot 2, part Town Section 1016. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54145, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Southern Side of Portion of Karaka Street and the Northern Side of Portion of Randolph Street, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of July, 1922.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, viz. :—

“That the Auckland City Council, having control of Karaka and Randolph Streets, Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said streets fronting Lots 77 to 82 (inclusive) of Allotment 5, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland . . . . . ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the southern side of the portion of Karaka Street and the northern side of the portion of Randolph Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portions of streets.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as Karaka Street, abutting on Lots 78, 80, and 82 of Allotment 5, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland.

Also all that portion of street, situated in the said land district and city, known as Randolph Street, abutting on Lots 77, 79, and 81 of Allotment 5, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland.

As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54694, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
