Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of July, 1922.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of widening Lincoln Street and for the construction of a new street, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 2 roods 1 perch.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 46 and 47, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District. (S.O. 1670.)

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
RANGITOTO-TUHUA 76B No. 6 Block, Ongarue Survey District: Approximate area, 589 acres 2 roods 32 perches.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets in the City of Wellington of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of July, 1922.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of streets of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet within the area described in the Schedule hereto, it being considered inexpedient to lay off streets of a full width of sixty-six feet in such area.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area: 8 acres 3 roods 30 perches.
Being part of Section 8, Evans Bay District, Block XI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington).
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49032, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged green.
