IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Legislature Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish all existing polling-places, and do hereby appoint the places mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be the polling-places in the said Electoral District of Dunedin North.

Notice setting apart Crown Land within the Westland Mining District as a Public Reserve for Use as a Site for a Police-station.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by section twenty-one of the Mining Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart as a public reserve for the purposes of a police-station the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land, containing by admeasurement 40 perches, being Sections 172 and 173 in the Township of Ross; as the same is delineated on the map of that township in the District Survey Office at Hokitika.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 1st day of June, 1922.

Arrangements for First Election, &c., Henderson Town District.

to be Returning Officer and person to prepare the roll of electors for the first election of a Board of seven Commissioners for the Henderson Town District, recently constituted under the Town Boards Act, 1908; also to appoint Saturday, the 17th day of June, 1922, as the day, and the Foresters’ Hall, Henderson, as the place, for holding such first election; also to appoint Wednesday, the 21st day of June, 1922, at 8 o’clock in the afternoon, as the time, and the said Foresters’ Hall as the place, for holding the first meeting of the Board of Commissioners so elected.
