At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day
of May, 1922.

IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine with respect
to the Buller Electric - power District, being an electric-
power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the
sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37, of the
eleventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
two, that the number of representatives of each constituent
district on the Board of the said district shall be the number
specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that
constituent district.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section sixty-nine of the Rabbit Nuisance
Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), as
amended by the Rabbit Nuisance Amendment Act, 1918,
it is provided that the Governor-General may from time to
time, by Order in Council gazetted, on petition in that behalf
from a majority of the ratepayers therein, constitute and
declare any part of New Zealand defined in such Order in
Council a district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act :
And whereas a petition in accordance with the provisions
of the said Act has been received, asking that the lands
described in the Schedule hereto be constituted and declared
a rabbit district for the purposes of Part III of the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act
and its amendments, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby constitute by the specific name of "the Blackstone
Hill Rabbit District" and declare that part of New Zealand
defined in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes
of Part III of the said Act; and doth hereby further declare
that the Board of Trustees for the said district shall in terms
of the said Act consist of eight members.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Land District of Otago situate partly
in the counties of Vincent and Maniototo and bounded by a
line commencing at a point being the most southerly corner
of Section 7, Block II, Poolburn District; thence running
in a north-west direction along the south-west boundary of
the said Section 7 to the south-west corner of the said Section
7; thence running in a north-east direction along the north-
west boundary of the said Section 7 and across the road-
line to the south-west corner of Section 8, Block II, Poolburn
District; thence running in a north-west direction along the
south-west boundary of Section 4, Block XI, Poolburn Dis-
trict, to the south-west corner of the said Section 4; thence
running in a north-east direction along the north-west bound-
ary of the said Section 4 to the north-west corner of the
said Section 4; thence running in a north-west direction
along the south-west boundaries of Section 30, Block III,
Poolburn District, and Run 244b to the Manuherikia River;
thence running in a north-east direction generally along the
east bank of the Manuherikia River to the most north corner
of Run 224d; thence running in a south-east direction
along the north-east boundary of Run 224d to the most
north corner of Run 224w; thence running in a north-east
direction along the north-west boundary of Run 224x to the
most north corner of Run 224x; thence running in a south-
east direction along the north-east boundary of Run 224x and
Section 2, Block XII, Blackstone district, to the south-east
corner of the said Section 2, Block XII, Blackstone dis-
trict; thence running in a south-west direction along the south
boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Blackstone district, to the
south-west corner of the said Section 2; thence running in a
north-west direction along the west boundary of the said
Section 2 to the north-west corner of the said Section 2,
Block XII, Blackstone district; thence running in a south-
west direction changing to a south-east direction along the
boundary of the railway reserve and across the road-line to
the most north corner of Section 4, Block XVI, Blackstone
district; thence running in a south-east direction along the
north-east boundaries of Sections 4, 6, and 8, Block XVI,
Blackstone district, to the most east corner of Section 8,
Block XVI, Blackstone district; thence running in a south-
west direction along the south-east boundaries of Sections 8
and 3, Block XVI, Blackstone district, and Sections 22, 19, 15,
13, 10, and 2, Block XV, Blackstone district, and Sections 9, 15,
21, and across a road-line, Block III, Poolburn district, to the
most east corner of Section 31, Block III, Poolburn district;
thence running in a south-east direction across a road-line
and along the north-east boundary of Section 5, Block III,
Poolburn district, to the most east corner of the said Section
5; and finally in a south-west direction along the south-east
boundaries of Sections 5, 3, 2, and 1, Block III, Poolburn
district, and Sections 8 and 7, Block II, Poolburn district,
to the most south corner of Section 7, Block II, Poolburn

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day
of May, 1922.

IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made, under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the
Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in
Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the
Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent
of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said
loans.
