Constituting the Taranaki Electric-power District and Outer Areas of such District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the proposed boundaries of the electric-power district and outer areas respectively as described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, and proclaim the district described in the Third Schedule hereto to be an electric-power district, and I hereby assign to such district the name of the “Taranaki Electric-power District”; and I do hereby further proclaim that the outer areas described in the Fourth Schedule hereto shall be outer areas of such electric-power district.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

PROPOSED ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT.

ALL that area of land, situated in the Provincial District of Taranaki, comprising—

(a.) That portion of the Inglewood County (the boundaries of which are described in the Inglewood County Act, 1919, and the ridings defined in the New Zealand Gazette of 24th June, 1920, page 2009) bounded as follows: Commencing at a point where the Ngatoro Stream intersects the Egmont National Park radius-line, runs thence in a north-easterly direction along the Ngatoro Stream and the Windsor Road to its junction with the south-western boundary of the Inglewood Borough; thence along such south-western boundary, the south-eastern boundary, and the north-eastern boundary of the said borough to the Wortley Road; thence along the Wortley Road to its junction with the Lincoln Road; thence along the Lincoln Road to its junction with the York Road; thence along the York Road to its junction with the Bristol Road; thence along the Bristol Road to the Manganui Stream; thence along the Manganui Stream to its junction with the Waitara River; thence in a southerly direction along the Waitara River to the south-eastern boundary of Subdivision 12, Block XIV, Waitara Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of said Subdivision 12 to the Mangaone Road; thence along the Mangaone Road to the Junction Road; thence along the Junction Road to the Tariki Road; thence along the Tariki Road to the Ratapiko Road; thence along the Ratapiko Road to its intersection with the southern boundary of the said Inglewood County; thence along the southern boundary of the said Inglewood County to its intersection with the Egmont National Park radius-line; thence by such radius-line to the point of commencement.

(b.) That portion of the Stratford County (the boundaries of which are set out in Gazette No. 85, 23rd October, 1902, page 2324, Gazette No. 75, 8th October, 1903, page 2168, Gazette No. 45, 11th June, 1908, page 1641, Gazette No. 81, 22nd October, 1908, page 2677, Gazette No. 34, 27th April, 1911, page 1411, and Gazette No. 65, 1st August, 1912, page 2397, and which boundaries were altered and rectified in New Zealand Gazette No. 105, 28th June, 1917, pages 2513 and 2514, and again altered by the Inglewood County Act, 1919) bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the northern boundary of the said Stratford County with the Egmont National Park radius-line, runs thence along the northern boundary of the said Stratford County to its intersection with the Ratapiko Road; thence along the said Ratapiko Road to its junction with the Makara Road; thence along the Makara Road to its junction with the Stanley Road; thence along the Stanley Road to its junction with the Makuri Road; thence along the Makuri Road to its junction with the Douglas Road; thence along the Douglas Road to its junction with the New Road; thence along the New Road to its junction with the Toko Road; thence along the Toko Road to its junction with the Mangaehu Road; thence along the Mangaehu Road to the Mangaehu Stream; thence by the Mangaehu Stream to the Patea River; thence by the Patea River to its intersection with the southern boundary of the said Stratford County; thence along the southern boundary of the said Stratford County till such boundary meets the south-eastern corner of Section 36, Block VII, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence along the southern and western boundaries of said Section 36, the western boundary of Section 35, Block VII, Kaupokonui Survey District, the southern and western boundaries of Section 29, Block VII, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence along the Opunake Road till it meets the south-eastern corner of Section 22, Block VII, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence along the eastern boundaries of said Section 22 and Sections 21, 20, and 19, Block VII, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of said Section 19 to its intersection with the Mania Road; thence along the Mania Road to its intersection with the Egmont National Park radius-line; thence by the said radius-line to the point of commencement.

(c.) That portion of the Eltham County (the boundaries of which are set out in the Eltham County Act, 1906, and ridings defined in the New Zealand Gazette No. 98, 29th November, 1906, page 3020, and the boundaries of which were altered in New Zealand Gazette No. 34, 27th April, 1911, pages 1411 and 1412, and redefined in New Zealand Gazette No. 35, 30th March, 1916, page 895, and again altered and redefined in New Zealand Gazette No. 105, 28th June, 1917, pages 2513 and 2514) bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 31, Block VIII, Kaupokonui Survey District, runs thence along the eastern boundary of said Section 31 to its intersection with the northern boundary of Section 35, Block VIII, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence along the northern and eastern boundaries of said Section 35 to the intersection of such eastern boundary with the northern boundary of Section 6, Block XII, Kaupokonui Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of said Section 6; thence along the eastern boundaries of said Section 6 and Sections 7, 17, and 28 to the intersection of same with the northern boundary of Section 39, Block XII, Kaupokonui
