Declaring the Rawhitiroa Road Reserve to be a Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Animals Protection and Game Act, and that no imported or native game shall be taken or killed within the said area.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, in Block IX, Omona Survey District, being Rawhitiroa Road Reserve, from the Omona Road to the Patea River.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of April, 1922.

Declaring Wingatui Racecourse Grounds to be a Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game.

All that area in the Otago Land District, situated in Block I, Taieri Survey District, known as the Wingatui Racecourse Grounds.

Declaring a Lagoon at Kahautara to be a Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game.

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Animals Protection and Game Act, and that no imported or native game shall be taken or killed within the said area.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in Blocks XI and XV, Wairarapa Survey District, being the lagoon lying partly in Kahautara No. 1B Block and partly in Subdivision 1c of Te Awaawaroa No. 1 Block.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 27th day of April, 1922.

Declaring Whakapapa Island to be a Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
Pursuant to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Animals Protection and Game Act, and that no imported or native game shall be taken or killed within the said area.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement one hundred and fifty-two acres (152 acres), be the same a little more or less, being Section 86, Block VI, Hunua Survey District, and known generally as Whakapapa Island. Bounded towards the north generally by the Wanganui River, towards the east and south-east generally by the right branch of the Whakapapa River, and towards the west and north-west generally by the left branch of the Whakapapa River to its eastern confluence with the Wanganui River. As the same is more particularly shown on a plan numbered 270 over 34, and deposited in the Wellington District Office of the Lands and Survey Department, and thereon bordered red.

Shooting Season for Imported Game and Native Game, License Fee, &c., Lakes Acclimatization District.
In exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the following imported game and native game—viz., Californian quail, grey duck, and black swan—may be taken or killed within the Lakes Acclimatization District, comprising the County of Lake, from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two (both days inclusive). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such imported game and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each; and the Postmasters at Queenstown, Arrowtown, Kingston, and Pembroke are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill grey duck and black swan within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of ten shillings each; and the Postmasters at Queenstown, Arrowtown, Kingston, and Pembroke are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
And I do further restrict the number of such grey duck and black swan that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty-five head in all.
Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.
