The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908.—Notice of Proposed Cancellation of Registration.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to an application in that behalf made to me by the Stockton Coal-mine Deputies and Foremen’s Industrial Union of Workers, registered No. 1205, situated at Ngakawau, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by section 21 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908, it is my intention to cancel the registration of that industrial union after the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, unless in the meantime cause is shown to the contrary.

AUCKLAND HARBOUR.—CAUTION re FLOOD STREAM.

Wellington, N.Z., 27th April, 1922.
THE Auckland Harbour Board notifies that progress in the construction of the eastern tide-deflector is now exercising considerable influence on the flood stream near the main wharves. It is expected that it will continue to do so until the deflector is completed.
Vessels navigating in the vicinity of the main wharves during the flood stream should use every precaution.
Publications affected.—Admiralty Chart No. 1970; “New Zealand Pilot,” ninth edition, 1919, page 190; “New Zealand Nautical Almanac,” 1922, pages 196 and 197, and plan facing page 200.
