And whereas it is desirable that the areas so added to the County of Whangamomona should be included in the Pohokura, Central, and Tahora Ridings of that county:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-one of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby declare that the areas included as aforesaid in the County of Whangamomona shall as on and from the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, be included in the Pohokura, Central, and Tahora Ridings of the said county, and that the boundaries of such ridings shall be those set forth under their respective headings in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

POHOKURA RIDING.

ALL that area in the Whangamomona County bounded, commencing at the intersection of the northern boundary of Block VII, Ngatimaru Survey District, and the county boundary, on the west by the county boundary, on the north-east by the Central Riding hereinafter described to the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VI, Mahoe Survey District; thence by a line along the eastern and southern boundaries of said Section 5, along the southern boundaries of Sections 12 and 11, Block V, the southern boundaries of Subdivisions 6 and 5, Pohokura Block, the western boundaries of Subdivisions 5 and 2, Pohokura Block, and the northern boundary of Block VII, Ngatimaru Survey District, to the county boundary, the point of commencement.

CENTRAL RIDING.

All that area in the Whangamomona County bounded, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 1, Block XVI, Upper Waitara Survey District, on the west by the county boundary, on the north by the Tahora Riding hereinafter described, on the east by the county boundary to the southern boundary of Block VIII, Mahoe Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Blocks VIII, VII, and VI to the Whangamomona Stream; thence up that stream to the eastern corner of Section 4, Block V, Mahoe Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of said Section 4, the northern boundary of Section 3, Block V, Mahoe Survey District; thence along the north-easterly boundaries of Sections 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, and 12, Block IV, Ngatimaru Survey District, along the north-easterly boundary of Section 1, Block XVI, Pouatu Survey District, to the northernmost corner, the point of commencement.

TAHORA RIDING.

All that area in the Whangamomona County bounded, commencing at the north-western corner of Section 8, Block IX, Pouatu Survey District, on the west, north, and east by the county boundary to the southern boundary of Block X, Heao Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Blocks X and IX, Heao Survey District, and of Block XII, Pouatu Survey District, to the Tangarakau River; thence down that river to Section 1, Block XV, Pouatu Survey District, along the northern boundary of that section to Kohuratahi Road, along that road to Section 5, Block XV aforesaid; thence along the south-easterly and south-westerly boundaries of that section, the south-westerly boundaries of Sections 2 and 1, Block XI, Pouatu Survey District, the south-easterly boundaries of Sections 85, 84, 82, 80, and 78, Whangamomona Improved-farm Settlement, along the south-westerly boundary of said Section 78 to the Ohura Road, south-westerly along that road to Section 69, along the north-easterly boundary of that section, and along the north-westerly boundaries of Sections 69 and 67 to Section 3, Block XIII, Pouatu Survey District; thence along the north-easterly boundaries of that section and Sections 4, 1, and 3, Block IX, Pouatu Survey District, to Mangaowata Road; thence westerly along that road and northerly along the western boundary of Section 8, Block IX, Pouatu Survey District, to the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of March, 1922.

Waikato Counties were altered by the inclusion in Waikato County of a part of the Piako County: And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the Waikato County should be included in the Tamahere and Cambridge Ridings of that county:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-one of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the Waikato County shall, as on and from the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, be included in the Tamahere and Cambridge Ridings of the said county, and that the boundaries of such ridings shall be those set forth under their respective headings in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF TAMAHHERE RIDING.

ALL that area in the Waikato County bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Mangaone and Tamahere Streams, and proceeding thence north-easterly along the boundary of the Tamahere Parish to the confiscation line; thence south-easterly along the county boundary to Section 28s, Te Miro Settlement; thence along the western boundaries of Sections 28s, 33s, and 34s, and the northern and south-western boundaries of Section 35s to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Hamilton Survey District; thence to and along that boundary, the western boundary of said Section 1, the northern boundary of Section 2, and the northern and western boundaries of Allotment 174, Hautapu Parish, the northern boundaries of Allotments 177 and 178, the western boundary of said Allotment 178, the northern boundary of Allotment 179, the western boundaries of Allotments 179, 180, and 181, all in the Parish of Hautapu; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Allotments 77, 78, 79, and 80, Tamahere Parish, to the Mangaone Stream, and down that stream to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF CAMBRIDGE RIDING.

All that area in the Waikato County bounded on the north-west by the Tamahere Stream, on the north generally by the Tamahere Riding hereinbefore described and the county boundary, and on the east, south, and south-west by the county boundary.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of March, 1922.

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS by Orders in Council dated the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, respectively, the boundaries of the County of Ashburton and Borough of Ashburton were altered by the exclusion of certain areas from the Borough of Ashburton and the inclusion of such areas in the County of Ashburton:

And whereas it is desirable that the areas so added to the County of Ashburton should be included in the Wakanui Riding of that county:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-one of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby declare that the areas included as aforesaid in the County of Ashburton shall, as on and from the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, be included in the Wakanui Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.

WAKANUI RIDING.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, in the County of Ashburton, bounded on the north-east by the Chertsey Boundary Road, on the south-east by the sea, on the south-west by the Ashburton River, on the north by the Borough of Ashburton and the Great Southern Railway to a point D
