Constituting the Town District of Henderson, Waitemata County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is enacted by the Town Boards Act, 1908, that the Governor-General may declare that any locality outside a borough wherein there are not less than fifty householders shall be a town district:
And whereas a petition has been presented to the Governor-General by the inhabitants within the area mentioned and described in the said petition, praying that such area may be constituted a town district under the Town Boards Act, 1908:
And whereas a Commission appointed in pursuance of section two of the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1912, held an inquiry, and reported that the locality defined in the said petition was suitable for municipal control, and made certain alterations of the boundaries thereof:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that as on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, the area described in the Schedule hereto, being the locality defined in the said petition, with boundaries as altered by the said Commission, shall be a town district, and the same is hereby constituted a town district under the Town Boards Act, 1908, by the name of the Henderson Town District. And, in further pursuance and exercise of the said powers, I do hereby proclaim, declare, and appoint that the Board of Commissioners for the said district shall consist of seven members.
SCHEDULE.
HENDERSON TOWN DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of a public road distant 50 links from the south-eastern corner of Lot 15 of Allotment 90, Parish of Waikomiti, and proceeding thence southerly along the middle of that road and of the Great North Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Allotment 37, Waari Hamlet; thence to and along that boundary, the eastern boundaries of Allotments 25 and 26, Waari Hamlet, the southern boundaries of the last-named allotment, across a public road to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 38, along the northern boundaries of Allotments 38 and 39 and the production thereof to the left bank of the Oratia Stream; thence southerly along that bank of stream to the northern boundary of Subsection 11 of Allotment 2, Waikomiti Parish, and along that boundary and its production to and across the Auckland-Kaipara Railway Reserve, along the western side of that reserve to and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Part Subsection 13 of Allotment 2 aforesaid to the north-eastern boundary of Part Subsection 14 of Allotment 2 aforesaid; thence along a right line across a road and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Part Subsection 14 of Allotment 2 aforesaid, along the south-western boundary of Subsection 15 of Allotment 2, Parish of Waikomiti, and of Allotment 7, Parish of Waipareira, to Henderson Valley Road; south-westerly along the south-eastern side of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundaries of Subsections 40 and 39; thence to and along the said north-eastern boundaries to Opanuku Stream, down the right bank of that stream to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 35, Waipareira Parish; thence to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Pederson's Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Subsection 4 of Allotment 30; thence to and along that boundary to the southernmost corner of that part of Allotment 31 containing 28 acres 0 roods 34 perches; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of said part of Allotment 31 and its production to the northern side of the Auckland-Kaipara Railway Reserve; thence north-westerly along that side of said railway to the southernmost corner of Lot 1 of Subsection 4 of Allotment 6, Parish of Waipareira, along the eastern boundary of said Lot 1 produced to the middle of the Great North Road, south-easterly along the middle of that road and northerly along the middle of Rathgar Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 3c, deposited plan 2162; thence to and along the southern boundaries of Lots 3c and 2c on said deposited plan 2162, across Lincoln Street, along the southern boundary of Lot 6, deposited plan 1263, to Henderson Creek; thence down the middle of that creek to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 9, deposited plan 6760, produced across a public road; thence southerly along the eastern side of that road to and along the southern side of Lot 8, deposited plan 6760; thence along the north-western boundaries of Lots 19
and 20 of Allotment 90, Waikomiti Parish, along the south-western boundaries of said Lot 20, across a road, along the southern boundaries of Lots 23 and 15 of Allotment 90, Parish of Waikomiti, produced to the middle of a public road, the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of March, 1922.

Change of Name of Locality "Gumtown" to "Coroglen."

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS settlers in the locality known as "Gumtown," in the County of Coromandel, desire that the name of such locality should be changed to "Coroglen," and it is considered expedient to alter the same:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality known as "Gumtown," in the County of Coromandel, shall be and the same is hereby altered to "Coroglen," and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.

Declaring a certain Area added to the Buller County to be included in the Karamea Riding of such County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, the boundaries of the Collingwood and Buller Counties were altered by the inclusion in Buller County of a part of the Collingwood County: And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the Buller County should be included in the Karamea Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-one of the Counties Act, 1920, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the Buller County shall, as on and from the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, be included in the Karamea Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of such riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF KARAMEA RIDING, BULLER COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Buller County bounded towards the north and east by the county boundary from the mouth of the Kahurangi River to Trig. Station X in Block XIII, Tasman Survey District; towards the south by the southern watershed of the Karamea River to the source of the Little Wanganui River, and by the said Little Wanganui River to its mouth; and towards the west by the sea.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of March, 1922.
