General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 21st day of February, 1922.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Christchurch–
Lyttelton Branch of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway to take
further land at Lyttelton, in addition to land previously
acquired for the purposes of the said railways;

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me
by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight
of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.

North Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is
hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of
sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in
the manner provided in the said Act.

Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Nelson Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the eleventh day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and
published in the Gazette of the eighteenth day of August
then instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection
by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, consti-
tuted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act,
1908, has recommended that the lands described in the
Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic
purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recom-
mendation :

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and by section 58 of the
Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Em-
powering Act, 1919, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves
under the first-mentioned Act, and subject to the provisions
thereof.
