12. MANUKAU.

This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the Eden, Roskill, and Parnell Electoral Districts, hereinbefore described, from the Manukau Harbour at the mouth of the Wairaki Stream to Hobson Bay of Waitemata Harbour, at the entrance to the Orakei Basin ; then towards the north generally by the Waitemata Harbour to the mouth of the Tamaki River ; then bounded towards the south-east generally by the said Tamaki River to the mouth of Otahuhu Creek ; then by that creek to and along Portage Road to the Main Trunk Railway-line ; then by that railway-line to the south-eastern corner of Lot 2, a subdivision of part of Fairbairn’s Grant (registered at the Deeds Office, Auckland, in Vol. R 221, folio 74) ; then by the southern boundary of the said Lot 2 to Station Road ; then by that road to a point 1250 links from the junction of the said Station Road with Portage Road ; then by a right line to Buckland Road at a point 740 links from its junction with the said Portage Road ; then by the said Buckland Road to the aforesaid Portage Road ; then by that road to and along the road forming the southern boundary of Section 55, Manurewa Parish ; then by the road forming the northern and western boundaries of Section 51 and western boundary of Section 53 of the said parish to Pukaki Creek ; then by that creek to the Manukau Harbour ; then bounded towards the south and west generally by the said Manukau Harbour to the Mangere Bridge ; then across the said bridge to and along the northern shore of the aforesaid Manukau Harbour to the mouth of the Wairaki Stream, the place of commencement : including Weeks Island and adjacent islands, and all wharves and extensions seaward.

13. FRANKLIN.

This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by the southern and eastern shores of the Manukau Harbour from the mouth of the said Harbour to the Manukau Electoral District, hereinbefore described, at the mouth of the Pukaki Creek ; then by the said Manukau Electoral District to the mouth of the Tamaki River ; then bounded towards the north generally by the southern shore of the Tamaki Strait to the easternmost corner of the Waiomaru Block (1377), Blocks 1 and 11, Wairoa Survey District ; then bounded towards the east generally by the south-eastern boundary of the said Waiomaru Block, the eastern and southern boundaries of the Waihohonu Block (1380), and south-eastern boundary of the Okaroro Block (1376), the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of the Kiripaka Block (1603), to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 46, Maraetai Parish ; then by the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Allotment 46, the eastern boundary of Allotment 72, all of Maraetai Parish, the northern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 80, Wairoa Parish, to and along the road forming the northern boundary of Allotment 79 to and along the road forming the western boundaries of Allotments 46, 45, 44, and intersecting Allotment 20, all of Wairoa Parish, to the Wairoa River ; then by that river to the southern boundary of Hunua Parish at the confluence of the Wairoa River and the Mangawheau Stream ; then bounded towards the south generally by the southern boundary of the said parish to the westernmost corner of Allotment 199 of the aforesaid Hunua Parish ; then by the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 46, Opaheke Parish, to and along the road forming the eastern boundaries of Lots 184, 185, 179, 180, 153, 154, 155, 156, 17, 15, 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 2, 3, 59, 79, 77, 75, 73, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, and 92, all of Section 2 of the said Opaheke Parish, to and along the road forming the eastern boundary of Allotment 49 ; then by the road intersecting the said Allotments 49 and 50, and forming the eastern boundary of Allotment 51, all of the aforesaid Opaheke Parish, to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 1, Mangatawhiri Parish ; then by the north-western and western boundary of the said Allotment 1, the western boundaries of Allotments 2, 3, 4, and 6,

all of the said Mangatawhiri Parish, to the south-western corner of the said Allotment 6 ; then by the road intersecting Allotments 26, 30, 15, and 12, of Pukekohe Parish, to a point in line with a continuation of a right line 1000 links distant from the south-western boundaries of Allotments 13 and 14 of the said Pukekohe Parish ; then along a right line to the northernmost corner of Allotment 24 ; then along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said Allotment 24 to and along the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 80, to the north-eastern corner of Lot 2, subdivision of the said Allotment 80, as shown on Plan 8466, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland ; then along the northern boundary of the said Lot 2, to and across a public road, along the western side of that road to the north-eastern corner of Lot 3, subdivision of Allotment 46, as shown on Plan 8552, deposited as aforesaid ; then along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 3 to and along the road forming the south-western boundary of the said Allotment 46 to a point in line with a line parallel to and distant 1000 links south from the northern boundaries of Allotments 47 and 49 ; then along that line and its production to the western side of Allotment 265 of Suburban Section 2 ; then along the western boundary of the said Allotment 265 and its production to the northern boundary of Allotment 284 of the said Section 2 ; then along the northern boundary of the said Allotment 284 to and across a public road, to and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 10, 6, and 7 of the Winchmore Estate, across a public road, along the north-western side of that road and the south-western side of the road forming the south-western boundary of Allotment 269 of Section 2 aforesaid to a point opposite the westernmost corner of that allotment, across the road along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 264, part of the southern boundary of Allotment 244, and the southern and western boundaries of Allotment 245, to the junction of roads at its north-western corner, across a road and along the northern side of the road forming the south-western boundary of Allotment 61 of Section 2 aforesaid to Allotment 65, along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the said Allotment 65, the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 66, and across a road along the north-western side of that road to the easternmost corner of Allotment 68 ; then along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 68 and 69, across a road and along its north-western side to the easternmost corner of Allotment 76 ; then along the north-eastern boundary of that allotment, across a road and along its north-western side to the easternmost corner of Allotment 93, all of Section 2 aforesaid, to and along the road forming the northern boundaries of the said Allotment 93, Allotments 87 and 89 to and along the road forming the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Allotment 157, the north-western boundaries of Allotments 158, 159, 160, 161, 167A, 168, 169, and 170, of the aforesaid Section 2, all of Pukekohe Parish, to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 33, Puni Parish ; then along the north-western boundary of the said Allotment 33, the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Allotment 35, the north-western boundary of Allotment 37, the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Allotment 40, the north-western boundary of Allotment 41, the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 43, the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Allotment 42, to and along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Allotment 17 E.R., to and along the south-western boundary of Allotment 18, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Allotment 19, all of the said Puni Parish, to and along the road forming the south-western boundaries of Allotments 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 92, and 91, all of Waiuku East Parish, to and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries, of the said Allotment 91, to and along the south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 108 to and along the eastern boundaries of Allotments 105 and 104, to the Tahiki River ; then by that river to its confluence with the Waiuku River ; then by that river to the road at Mokerau at the southernmost corner of Allotment 175, Waipipi Parish ; then by that road forming the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 348, the south-eastern boundary of Allotments 346, 157s, and 142, the north-western boundaries of Allotments 33, 34, 35, 37, 352, 145A, 145, 146, and intersecting Allotment 406, all of the said Waipipi Parish, to the Tasman Sea ; then bounded towards the south-west by the Tasman Sea to Manukau Harbour, the place of commencement.

14. THAMES.

This district is bounded by Tamaki Strait, the Firth of Thames, and the Hauraki Gulf from the easternmost corner of the Waiomaru Block (1377), Blocks I and II, Wairoa Survey District, to Cape Colville ; then bounded towards the north-east and east generally by the ocean to the mouth of the Otahu River ; then bounded towards the south generally by the said Otahu River, to a point due east of Trig. Station 89 (Ngapukuturua) ; then by a right line to the said Trig. Station 89 ; then by a right line to the source of the Waipaheke Stream ; then by that stream
