THE following notices, received from the Mayor of the Council of the Borough of Otaki, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Results of Polls on Proposals to raise Loans.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Otaki was taken on the 21st day of December, 1921, on the proposal of the Otaki Borough Council to borrow the sum of £22,000 for waterworks within the borough.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 136, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 27; informal, 3.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Otaki was taken on the 21st day of December, 1921, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £14,000 for sewage within the borough.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 133, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 29; informal votes, 4.
