MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of four thousand eight hundred pounds, authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of providing the Masterton County Council’s share of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Kahumangi Stream at Kahumangi, known as the Kahumangi Traffic-bridge, such bridge being on the Masterton–Waimata Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one fifty-sixth of a penny in the pound upon the capital rateable value of all the rateable property of the County of Masterton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and payable half-yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

INGLEWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Inglewood County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Inglewood County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of forming, regrading, and metalling the Mana Road, the said Inglewood County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and seven-tenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mana Road No. 2 Special Rating Area, comprising Sections 1 to 7, Block VII, Huiroa, Taitama Settlement (Soldiers), containing 194:1:0 acres, 250:3:0 acres, 177 acres, 292:2:0 acres, 303 acres, 109:1:10 acres, 110:2:30 acres; Sections 7 and 8, Block VII, Huiroa, 240:2:8 acres; Section 2, Block XI, Huiroa, 120 acres; part Section 55, Block VI, Huiroa, 108:2:24 acres. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the amendments thereof, the Napier Borough Council do hereby resolve as follows:—
That, in order to provide the interest and other charges on a special loan of £60,100, authorized to be raised by the said Council under the said Act, for the purpose of completing the construction of a track and overhead works for an electric tramway along Hastings Street South, and for other purposes, the said Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of 31/50ths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Napier; the said special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and to be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of December and the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NAPIER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the amendments thereof, the Napier Borough Council do hereby resolve as follows:—
That, in order to provide the interest and other charges on a special loan of £29,100, authorized to be raised by the said Council under the said Act, for the construction of a sewer for providing a water-supply for Napier South, and for other purposes, the said Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of 31/100ths of a penny in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Napier; the said special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and to be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of December and the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Timaru Borough Council resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £3,000 (to be known as the Timaru Borough Omnibus Loan (No. 2) of £3,000), authorized to be raised by the Timaru Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of purchasing additional vehicles and improving and extending the municipal omnibus service, and for other purposes in relation thereto prescribed by the said Acts or either of them, the said Timaru Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-thirds of a penny in the pound sterling upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Timaru, comprising the whole of the Borough of Timaru; and this Council resolves that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, as from the 30th day of September, 1921, and shall, without further proceedings by the said Council, be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
That His Worship the Mayor and the Town Clerk, and each of them, be authorized to take all necessary steps and to sign all documents, including the Gazette notice, for giving full effect to the foregoing.

TIMARU BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Timaru Borough Council resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of £10,000 (to be known as the Timaru Borough Waterworks Loan (No. 4) of £10,000), authorized to be raised by the Timaru Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of improving and extending the borough waterworks and water-supply, especially that portion thereof known as the water-race between the reservoirs and the dam, in accordance with the reports of Mr. J. H. Howitt, C.E., Borough Engineer, and Mr. A. D. Dobson, C.E., and for other purposes in relation thereto prescribed by the said Acts or either of them, hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound sterling upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Timaru, comprising the whole of the Borough of Timaru; and this Council resolves that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, as from the 30th day of September, 1921, and shall, without further proceedings by the said Council, be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
