boundary of Te Kumi Number 9 to the Te Kuiti - Otorohanga Road; thence along the Te Kuiti - Otorohanga Road to the southern boundary of Te Kumi Number 8; thence along the southern boundary of the said section in an easterly direction to the Mangaokewa Stream; thence along the Mangaokewa Stream in a northerly direction to the north-west corner of Crown land (39 acres); thence along the northern boundary of the Crown land to its north-east corner; thence in a southerly direction following the eastern boundaries of the Crown land (39 acres), Crown land (98 acres), Native Section Onaweke, and Section 13, Block XV, Orahiri Survey District, to the starting-point.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Waipawa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:- That, for the purpose of providing instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Waipawa Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the extension of waterworks and installing an engine to maintain the supply of water, the said Waipawa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seventeen one-hundredths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waipawa Borough Council, comprising the whole of the Borough of Waipawa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the fourteenth day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913, the Waitotara County Council hereby resolves as follows:- That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Waitotara County Council for the purpose of acquiring land, buildings, and erecting workers' dwellings for persons from time to time in the employment of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Waitotara County, the said Waitotara County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/24th of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property within the Waitotara County; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, and shall be payable annually on the first day of September in each and every year for 36½ years, or until the loan in respect of which such special rate was made is fully paid off.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.

NAPIER ROAD LOAN.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows :-That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,000, in respect of the Mangaone Riding, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of widening and remetalling Napier Road and treating surface with tar and asphalts, the Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three two-hundredths (3/200ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the said riding; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RANGITIKEI LINE LOAN.-RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £2,000, in respect of the Taonui and Mangaone Ridings, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of widening and remetalling Rangitikei Line Road and treating surface with tar and asphalts, the Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-hundredth (1/100th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Taonui Riding, and three two-hundredths (3/200ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Mangaone Riding; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,000, in respect of the Taonui Riding, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of widening and remetalling Foxton Line and treating surface with tar and asphalts, the Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one one-hundredth (1/100th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the said riding; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

FITZHERBERT EAST ROAD DEVIATION LOAN OF £600.- RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £600, in respect of the Fitzherbert Riding, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of deviating formation on Fitzherbert East Road by constructing filling across gully opposite Section 218, Block XV, Kairanga Survey District, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven five-hundredths (7/500ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the said riding; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned GEORGE COOPER and MILES MURDOCK McINNES, carrying on business in Dunedin as Printers under the firm-name of “The Dunedin Printing Company,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the first day of October, 1921. The business will in future be carried on by the said GEORGE COOPER alone, and all documents due
