THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared to be a
Government road: 31·1 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 12, Block XV, Orahiri
Survey District. (S.O. 19444.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52055, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of Burch’s to Wairere Road (Specks to Lindquists Portion), in the Otamatea County, to be a County Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of October, 1921.
Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the North Auckland Land District, Otamatea County, known as the Burch’s to Wairere Road (Specks to Lindquists portion), commencing at a point about five chains west of the south-eastern corner of Section 71 S.W., Paparoa Parish, Matakoh Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 71 S.W. and Sections 70 N.E., 70 S.W., Paparoa Parish, and Sections 139E and part 139W, Matakoh Parish, Block XI, Matakoh Survey District, and terminating at a point about five chains southwest of the south-eastern corner of the said Section 139w ; being a distance of seventy-eight chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53007, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Western Side of Portion of Knigge Avenue, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of October, 1921.
Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, viz. :—
"The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to all that portion of the western side of Knigge Avenue beginning at its intersection with Vivian Street and extending for a distance of 106 links, being whole frontage of Lot l, D.P. 386, Town Section 132, in City of Wellington";
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Knigge Avenue, abutting on Lot l, D.P. 386, Town Section 132. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52533, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Ghuznee Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 25th day of October, 1921.
Present:

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, viz. :—
"The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of Ghuznee Street beginning at a point 56·94 links from the intersection of Quinn Street and extending for a distance of 126·64 links, being whole frontage of Lot 2, D.P. 818, Town Section 173, in City of Wellington" ;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the northern side of the portion of Ghuznee Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Ghuznee Street, abutting on Lot 2, D.P. 818, Town Section 173. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51852, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Eastern Side of Portion of Norway Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

"The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to all that portion of the eastern side of Norway Street beginning at the southern boundary of Lot 24 and extending south for a distance of 68·41 links, being frontage of Lot 23, D.P. 995, being part of Section 28, Karori Registration District";
