COUNTY OF TARANAKI.

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—SAUNDERS ROAD SPECIAL LOAN OF £500.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling Saunders Road, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and one-eighth pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Saunders Road Special Rating District, being Sections 18, 19, 20, 21, pt. 16, 14, 17, 25, 26, 23, 24, 9, 13, Block X, Cape Survey District; 13, pt. 16, 12, Block XI, Cape Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

COUNTY OF TARANAKI.

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—CROSS ROAD (KELLY TO RICHMOND) SPECIAL LOAN OF £500.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling Cross Road, between Kelly and Richmond Roads, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four and a quarter pence (4¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Cross Road (Kelly to Richmond) Special Rating District, being Sections 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 39, Block 9, Waitara Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—HEMPTON ROAD SPECIAL LOAN OF £150.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming, regrading, and metalling the Hempton Road, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eleven-sixteenths (11/16ths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Hempton Road Special Rating District, being part of Sections 112, 113, 114, Block I, Cape Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OTANE TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Town Boards Act, 1908, the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1910, the Housing Act, 1919, the Housing Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Otane Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000), authorized to be raised by the Otane Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Town Boards Act, 1908, the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1910, the Housing Act, 1919, and the Housing Amendment Act, 1920, for the purpose of purchasing land, whether with or without dwellings thereon, for the purposes of workers’ dwellings, and for erecting workers’ dwellings, the said Otane Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and one-half pence (2½d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the said Otane Town Board District, comprising the whole of the Town District of Otane; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £11,000, authorized to be raised by the Ohura County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of widening and culverting and metalling the Harvey-Tokirima Road (£6,286), widening, culverting, and metalling one mile of the Turoto Road South (£1,048), widening, culverting, and metalling the Aorangi Road (£2,357), and widening, culverting, and metalling the Kokopuiti Road (£1,309), the said Ohura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of threepence halfpenny (3½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Harvey-Tokirima Special Rating District, comprising the whole of the following sections—2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 36, 37, 40, 41, Block XIV, Ohura S.D. ; 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, Block XIII, Ohura S.D. ; 8, 9 pt., 9 pt., 10, 11, Block X, Ohura S.D. ; 1, Block I, Heao S.D. ; 7, 11, 12, 8, 9, 17, Block II, Heao S.D. ; Ohura South K No. 1 Sec. 2c No. 2. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that the first year’s instalment and the cost of raising the loan shall be paid out of the loan.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the Ohura County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the following purpose—forming, culverting, and metalling for the first time a portion of the Upper Ohura and Tapuwahine Roads—the said Ohura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Upper Ohura Special Rating District, comprising the following sections: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, Block V, Tangitu S.D. ; 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Block VI, Tangitu S.D. ; 1, 2, 3, Block VIII, Tangitu S.D. ; 1, Block IX, Tangitu S.D. ; half part 77E Sec. 1B 6 and 9, Rangitoto-Tuhua 61c Sec. 5, Block VIII, Aria S.D. ; 61c Sec. 4, Block VIII, Aria S.D. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 14th day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that the first year’s instalment and the cost of raising the loan shall be paid out of the loan.
