A PPLICATION having been made to me to register a
re-entry by the Westport Borough Council, as lessor
under Memorandum of Lease No. 504, affecting Lot 8 on
plan 47 of a subdivision of Section 1001 of the Westport
Municipal Reserve, being part of the land comprised in
certificate of title, Vol. 32, folio 137, of which THOMAS
MURRAY, of Westport, Harbour Board Employee, is the
registered lessee, I hereby give notice that I will register
the re-entry, as requested, on the expiration of one calendar
month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

N OTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 230
of the Companies Act, 1908, a general meeting of
Bearsley and Co. (Limited), in Liquidation, will be held at
the office of Dr. H. C. Bennett, Victoria Road, Devonport,
at 7.45 p.m. Monday, the 7th day of November, 1921, for the
purpose of having laid before the meeting the account of the
Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up has
been conducted and the property of the company disposed
of, and of hearing an explanation thereof given by the
Liquidator.
Under section 252 of the Companies Act, application will
be made to the meeting for an order as to the disposal of the
books.

P UBLIC notice is hereby given that the Education Board
of the District of Taranaki proposes to provide land
as a public-school site, and for such purpose requires to take
the land described in the Schedule hereto.
A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid is
deposited for public inspection at the office of the Egmont
County Council, Opunake.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of the
said work or the taking of the said land, and to send such
writing, within forty days from the first publication of this
notice, to the said Board at its office in Lemon Street in the
Town of New Plymouth.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land, situated in the County of Egmont,
in the Land District of Taranaki, containing 1 acre, more or
less, being part of the section numbered 22, Block 5, Opunake
Survey District, the said piece of land being shown on the
plan deposited as aforesaid and thereon outlined in pink.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
T HE Partnership business hitherto existing between
ALBERT EDWIN WORRALL and THOMAS FRANK ANDER-
SON, and carried on by them at Rotorua under the style of
“ Worrall and Anderson,” Coachbuilders, has been dissolved
by mutual consent. The said business will be carried on in
future by the said Thomas Frank Anderson and by Frederick
George Worrall under the style of “ Worrall and Anderson.”
All debts and liabilities due by the late firm will be dis-
charged by the said Alfred Edwin Worrall and Thomas Frank
Martin Anderson.

GORE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and
its amendments, the Gore Borough Council hereby resolves
as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000),
authorized to be raised by the Gore Borough Council, under
the above-mentioned Act, for drainage and water-supply
works in the West Ward of the Borough of Gore, the said
Gore Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate
of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the Borough of Gore; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the
first day of May and the first day of November in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of twenty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
