Declaring Land purchased for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 5 perches.

Portion of Lot 2 on D.P. 2881 (part of the Matangiawhea Block), (left bank Wanganui River), situated in Block XIV, Waipakura Survey District. (S.O. 1647.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52908, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 17th day of October, 1921.

Amending a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road, and Road closed, in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Opuha Survey District, Mackenzie County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Land Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the Proclamation dated the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 77, of the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, proclaiming land as a road, and road closed, in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Opuha Survey District, Mackenzie County, by substituting the area 35·9 perches for the area 31·8 perches in the second item of the First Schedule to the said Proclamation, and by substituting the area 31·8 perches for the area 35·9 perches in the second item of the Second Schedule to the said Proclamation.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of October, 1921.

Adjoining or passing through Section 89, Town of Richmond, and Section 1, Suburbs of Matata, situated in Block VI, Awa-o-te-atua Survey District. (S.O. 20746.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48716 (sheet 1), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of October, 1921.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52757, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of October, 1921.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Whakatane County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 1 acre 3 roods 22·6 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Lot 1 of Allotments 130 to 135 on D.P. 14005, Matata Parish, Block II, Awa-o-te-atua Survey District. (S.O. 21758.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52935, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.
