Stockton Coal Company’s Tramway Reserve, on an approximate true bearing of 318° 30′ and a distance of 2160 links from Trig. AL; thence in a north-easterly direction, 3160 links; thence in a north-westerly direction, 3160 links; thence in a south-westerly direction, 3160 links, to the tramway reserve aforesaid; thence along the northern boundary of the said reserve, 3160 links, to the commencing-point.

Also all that unsurveyed area in the Nelson Land District, estimated to contain 1,000 acres, situate in Block VI, Waitahu Survey District, Inangahua County, more particularly described hereinafter, being portion of land set apart as provisional State forest, commencing at the north-western corner of Block VI, and bounded on the north by the block-line between Blocks II and VI in an easterly direction, 100 chains; thence by a right line running due south, 100 chains; thence by a right line running due west to the block-line between Blocks V and VI, 100 chains; thence in a northerly direction by the block-line between Blocks V and VI, 100 chains, to the commencing-point.

Also all that area in the Nelson Land District, situate in Block XIII, Waitahu Survey District, Inangahua County, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, and being portion of a provisional State forest. Bounded on the south by the Blackwater Mines Tramway, west by Crown lands, north by Crown lands, and on the east by Special Claim G 57.

As the same are delineated on atlases Nos. 106 and 120 respectively, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1921.

National-endowment Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and section two of the State Forests Amendment Act, 1919, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto as and for a provisional State forest.


SCHEDULE.

NELSON-MARLBOROUGH CONSERVATION REGION.

Provisional State Forest No. Part N.M. 106.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 15,540 acres, more or less, being national-endowment land, situated in Blocks V, VIII, IX, and XI, Totaranui Survey District, Block IV, Takaka Survey District, and Block V, Kaiteriteri Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-east corner of Provisional State Forest No. 44, Block IV, Kaiteriteri Survey District, and bounded towards the north by Section 10 in the said Block IV, and again towards the north by Sections 16 and 14, Block IV, Takaka Survey District; towards the west by the said Section 14, and again towards the north by Sections 25, 24, and 20, Block IV, Takaka Survey District aforesaid; towards the east by Section 20, Block IV aforesaid, and Section 2, Block V, Totaranui Survey District; towards the north by a road reserve to the north-west corner of Section 4 in the said Block V; towards the south-east by the said Section 4; towards the south-west by Sections 11 and 10, Block VI, Totaranui Survey District; towards the south-east by the said Section 11, and towards the south and east by Section 4, Block IX, Totaranui Survey District; again towards the south-east by Section 3, Provisional State Forest 106, in the said Block IX, to Falls River; towards the south-west by Falls River to the north-west corner of Section 1, Block XII, Totaranui Survey District; towards the south by the said Section 1; towards the south generally by Section 12, Block V, Kaiteriteri Survey District; towards the north-west by Sections 24, 2, and 3 in the said Block V; towards the south and east by the said Section 3; towards the south-west by Sections 91 and 6 in the said Block V; towards the west generally by Section 8, Block V, and Section 4, Block IV, Kaiteriteri Survey District, to the south-east corner of Provisional State Forest No. 44, Block IV aforesaid; and towards the north-west by Provisional State Forest No. 44 to the point of commencement. As the same is delineated on the atlas No. N.M. 099, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1921.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and section two of the State Forests Amendment Act, 1919, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto as and for a provisional State forest.


SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

Provisional State Forest No. 65.

ALL that area of land in the Taranaki Land District, situated in Blocks VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Waro Survey District, containing by admeasurement 6,560 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 5, Block X, Waro Survey District, on the eastern side of Mount Damper Road; thence in a northerly direction generally by the said road to the south-eastern corner of Section 6 (scenery reserve); by the eastern boundary of Section 6 and by the Kotare Road and the Waitaanga Road to the south-western corner of Section 11, Block VII, Waro Survey District; by the southern boundaries of Sections 11 to 16 of the aforesaid Block VII, and by the southern boundary of Section 10, Block VIII, Waro Survey District, to the Weraroa Road; thence by the aforesaid road following the southern boundary of Section 11 to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XII, and by the eastern boundary of the said Section 2 to its junction with the boundary of Provisional State Forest No. 55; thence in a south-westerly direction generally by the said provisional State forest boundary to its junction with the Mount Damper Road, and by the said road to the place of commencement. As the same is delineated on atlas No. Wn. 051, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1921.
