Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes; and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Section 66, Block II, Whangape Survey District: Area, 449 acres 0 roods 8 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1921.

Land proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section eleven of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1920, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation approved in Executive Council, declare that any national-endowment land held as a small grazing-run under a lease issued pursuant to the Land Act, 1892, or issued before the passing of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1918, pursuant to the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto which is held as a small grazing-run as aforesaid should cease to be national-endowment land:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section eleven, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.

Small Grazing-run No. 32, Hangaroa Survey District: Area, 2,401 acres 2 roods.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of October, 1921.

Crown Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
