extended-river limits of the Port of Auckland, and do hereby define the following limits in substitution thereof :-

River and Smooth-water Limits.—All those waters of the Hauraki Gulf inside Rangitoto Reef, Tamaki Straight, not beyond Koherunui Point, and inside Waiheke Channel.

Extended-river Limits.—All those waters of the Hauraki Gulf inside a right line drawn from the north point of Cabbage Bay, on the Coromandel Peninsula, to Shearer Rock, off Tiritiri Island, and thence to Tawharanui Point.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block VII, Waipakura Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block VII, Waipakura Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Makirikiri, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken:

1 acre 0 roods 11 perches.

Portion of Te Kahakaha 3b No. 1 Block, situated in Block VII, Waipakura Survey District. (S.O. 1598.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50431, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

Plant declared to be a Noxious Weed by the Ekatahuna County Council.—Notice No. 2952.

IT is hereby notified, for public information, that the Ekatahuna County Council has, by special order, declared foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) to be a noxious weed within the meaning of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, in the district under its jurisdiction.
