deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 25th day of January, 1921.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown land under Section 14
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-
General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become
Crown land :
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in
the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf
of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act,
1909:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth,
Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule
hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
NGATITAMARONGO No. 20 Block, being Section 45, Block IX,
Opunake Survey District : Approximate area, 10 acres
2 roods.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of East-
bourne of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Auckland, this 26th day of
January, 1921.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, and
of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
authorize the Eastbourne Borough Council to lay out or
permit to be laid out a connecting street of a width less than
sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet between Tuatoru
Road and Rata Road in the Borough of Eastbourne, such
connecting street being more particularly described in the
Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
THAT street situated in the Wellington Land District, Borough
of Eastbourne, through Lot 31, D.P. 1256, being part
Sections 37 and 39, Harbour District, Block XVI, Belmont
Survey District, connecting Tuatoru Road and Rata Road.
As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 50515, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District, and thereon edged red.

bourne of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft.

the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the
Eastbourne Borough Council to permit the laying-off of a
street of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than
forty feet within the area described in the Schedule hereto,
it being inexpedient to lay off a street of a width of sixty-six
feet.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land, situated in the Wellington Land
District, Borough of Eastbourne, containing 9Β·7 perches,
more or less, and being part Sections 37 and 39, Harbour
District, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District. As the
said area is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 50515, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
and thereon edged red.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of Β£110,000 by the
Hamilton Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Auckland, this 26th day of
January, 1921.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made, under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the Hamilton Borough Council to borrow the sum
of one hundred and ten thousand pounds for the purpose of
drainage-works, and it is expedient that such consent should
issue :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
both hereby consent to the raising of the loan of one
hundred and ten thousand pounds by the Hamilton Borough
Council at a rate of interest not exceeding five and one-half
pounds per centum per annum; and it is hereby declared
that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in
that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate
accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council
to the raising of the loan hereby authorized.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made, under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doeth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the
Schedule hereto, provided that the rate of interest at which
the loans or any of them are to be raised shall in no case
produce to the lender a return exceeding five and one-half
pounds per centum per annum; and it is hereby declared
that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in
